Thank u so much these are the best piano lessons on youtube (in my opinion xD ) helps alot...i would really love to learn something from Rebelution so if u could make a video on one of there songs that would be GREAT
yow my yute! a wa dis!!!!! WOY!!!! me a falla oonu hinstruc shan and nex ting me a play big chune by bob!!! WOYYYY! Yow big up onuu self cz onuu DUN know onu large everytime!!!!!!!!!!
Actually, now I could see why reggae is deep in the groove... It seems that the leads play off-beat... It gives a very nice movement and makes the bass more evident in the arrangement!
the way you explain counting kinda off no diss what you want to say is the right hand triad need to play on the "and" beat beat one is the star of any beat and there are many micro beats between 1 and 2 beat divided int 16ths right between 1 and beat 2 is the "and" beat the one you describe as "2" after the "1" you have beat "e" the "and" after "a" then 2 you can even divide the space between the beats in 8ths nah lie you can play but you should go at least a class on music theory and
BEST PIANO LESSON ON YOUTUBE!!! You gotta have love to teach! You have great charisma and patience which is directly transmitted to who watches you teach! thanks a lot!
Loooove from here - I just learnt my first two songs on piano (with chords) ever!! It is so fantastic. Thank you so much for adding this! peace and love
this would be a 1-5-6-5-4-2-5 progression. Their are several way to play this and other progression on my video tutorial Gospel Reggae Skills try and get it. a easy way of playing this would be for you to start out by playing these chords in your right hand. start by counting at a steady beat : 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and... repeat this. Now play each chord for 4 beats on the word "and" for the L hand bass you play the root note on count 1 for the whole 4 beat.
@Alexzandermusic respect man, great video, very clear information on keyboard use. I have looked all over the net for a straight forward approach in playing reggae music on the keyboard and this i find to be the best, slow and very clear, Big up again,
Thank you so much for this video. I was looking for a base to take off and you gave it for me, im trying to transition a little more from percussion and you inspired me.
do these chords work just as well on the guitar? and also in the song is it an organ they use or a regular piano like this? if anybody could help me i'd be very appreciative.
Cool i see what i can do

@Alexzandermusic use roman numerals when talking progressions.
this way you can tell if its major or minor or otherwise.
