Yes it is, Just, Dont go any higher than the 9800gtx or it will limit your system and you wont see much improvement.

Why dont you get the gts250 gfx card? Same performance, but more silent.

the gtx295 is a dual gpu. and not all games work with sli so it can be quite a waste if you play games that dont use sli

you think the motherboard you have right now is better than the newer version of the Asus Maximus 2 Formula? and i know it uses the P45 which is really good but in crossfirex you will only be using x8 but you can't see much of the difference but in x48 which you got you see a whole lot. so what do you think?

depends if its a "retail" or "OEM" (Original equipment manufacture) version. Retail will come with fancy packaging and a fan, OEM will be cheaper with little packaging and no fan or manual.

I had a question, did your rampage formula box come with any kind of seals around it? because mine did not have any kind of sticker/seals around anywhere to keep the openings closed. just getting paranoid possibly :(
