does this game utilize the clutch? like if i were accelerating, and i push the clutch in, would the vehicle overrev? just like in a real car.

yes, the cars rev would hit the limiter.

But another interesting question is: what happens, if you're changing gears without the clutch?

Will the stick block the action or will you stay in the gear so that the g25 does not recognize a shift...?

@lllBASlll ok, yea, thats a good question, im probably going to get the G27, just because these steering wheels are, in my opinion, the best out there, and then ill tell you if it does that, unless your getting it.

you wouldnt have any idea if there is a way to change the driving side of the driver in GT5 Prologue, would you? like change it from RHD (Right Hand Drive) to LHD (Left Hand Drive

Changing the wheel side in gran turismo? Probably not, but there are cars in GT5 (and Prologue) which have their steering wheel on the right side (like the one in the video) and some, which have it on the left side.

I can think it'll be annoying if you drive a RHD in GT5 and you do have your G27 Stick mounted to the Right *confusing* XD

@lllBASlll yea, i see what you mean about that, im American and have left hand drive cars, with right hand shifting, i drive a manual transmission car, and im american, pretty rare? haha lots of people in america dont drive manual, but i do because i love it.

I see how all that could be confusing that is why id like to switch the driving side, bc im used to LFH.

Im not sure when i am getting one, soon hopefully, sucks you cant get one, hope everything works out for you.

Manual Transmission in US? Well, I havn't seen a movie in which cars were with a an H-Pattern stick shift, so... yeah- pretty rare haha XD

I'm passionated with it, too. In my opinion one thing, that makes motorsport so wonderful!

But a tip for GT5: just buy cars from US and Europe (except for Britsh) ingame ;)

And for the G27, we just have to save some money...

@lllBASlll yea, there are only about 10% manual/standard transmission cars in the US, so ive heard. Well i cant call it standard bc really automatic is more of a standard. I feel its a little more than 10% of people who buy manual, and you know what really pisses me off? People who buy nice kind of sportscars in automatic, WTF!!??? you stupid ass.

Dont laugh, but i drive a Saturn SL1 1999, im realy looking to get a VW GTI or Audi A4, mostly the GTI R32 or Vr6. i just love German cars.

@lllBASlll Also, i am quite passionate with the manual transmission as well, something i really hate is that people keep trying to get me to get automatic, like they say the twin clutch paddle shift is so mch faster shifting and just better, well it may be faster but, where is the 3rd pedal? i just wont get a car, like a GTI, without 3 pedals, they have to be there, haha lol, you know what i mean? Also, how do you get enjoyment out of flicking your finger? too boring for me =)

Yeah, I know. You just have to sit down and grab the stick.

Clutching- especially heel and toe downshift- is so cool, you have to be skilled to race!

Not like having just 2 pedals and a wheel! Clutch, Flywheel, Transmission, these are so important things in the understanding and use of a car. Nowadays kids just learn how to steer, give gas and break. That's not driving... I'm proud not be one of them- I love Motorsports and engines. I think pretty rare for Germany haha

I am just like you, well, i started off with automatic, bc we had no manuals at that time, and just learned on an auot until i took my test and passed, then i got a manual and have never not liked it, i feel like i am in full control.

And i see what you mean about kids just learning auto, im not one of them bc im 17 and drive a manual, and love German cars =) i need money...

Bhe...la crisi prima o poi passa...cmq ci sono modelli della stessa logitech a prezzi + umani...poi cmq GT5 molto probabilmente uscirà a marzo 2010 a crisi finita e magari saranno anche calati i prezzi per il G25 già adesso lo trovi a 199€

I really don't get why the "in-game" steering wheel, can't rotate more than about 180 degrees (don't know how much). I know frontwheels of the car respond to the 900 degrees from your G25 but it is anoying at in car view.

Anyway. I'm close to buying, either a G25 or the Driving Force GT, and I would like to know how accurate the wheel is, since there is no setting for the G25 in the game. Is there lag between movements and reactions.. Nice video.. :D

I don't like it too maybe in full GT5 they change this rotare in cocpit view on 360 degrees would be awesome :)

I prefer G25 because have clutch and GT5P support it.
