Richard, you know the verses that the people use to prove the pre-trib... I don't see how it says that he is going to come before the trib. As a matter of fact Paul, in Corinthians, never said it would be after or before, it's just man that puts words in his mouth. But Jesus did say after, and like you said, everytime Christ spoke of his return he would say after.
I live in the SouthEast USA. The "Bible Belt". This area is so deeply vested into pretrib Rapture I think it may be possible I be crucified myself for speaking against it. I can think of more than seventy passages of Scripture pre-tribbers use to expound their view. The only problem is they are all used solely on the basis of an underlying assumption that there will be a pre-trib rapture to heaven. A careful study of all these passages without any biased understanding at the outset definately points to a post-trib scenario. The only way to get a viable pre-trib theory is to take these verses completely out of context, shuffle them, and disregard biblical Greek.

'one will be taken and one will be left...' this isn't talking about being raptured. In the flood the ones 'taken' by the flood were destroyed. Noah was left. When one is taken and one is left, the ones taken are those who will be destroyed by the wrath of Yahweh. The ones left will still be here, just like Noah. The righteous will inherit the earth, not be raptured. The passage you are posting gives the meaning of 'taken' in the first verse.
That verse can also be read differently to other people. Can you see it from that perspective? The passage would be entirely different read this way- "one will be taken by God from wrath and the other left because of his rigtheousness." It isn't saying that. We have to be careful not to add our own human words. Can you see that? and remember there will be a NEW heaven and a NEW earth.
I'm not too interested in how different people twist the scriptures to their own imaginations. I'm interested in line upon line, precept upon precept. Taking scripture as a whole to interpret the meaning. If I find something that I don't understand I search it out in the other scriptures for a second witness to interpret the meaning- from scripture, not from my imagination or 'itchy ears'. There will be a renewed earth and heavens- renewed with righteousness in the presence of a Righteous King.

Seems to be talking about how the righteous are not mourned or missed by the wicked when they perish, and yet it's a blessing to the righteous to be resting in their graves, sleeping until the resurrection at Yahshua's return. They do not have to endure the wickedness of evil men an longer- when they are awakened there will be a a new King and Righteousness will reign in the renewed Kingdom of YHWH.

I'm a post-tribulationist but i think that both these (pre and post) positions have a valid argument and biblical evidence.
Why do we waste so much time on eschatology? It'll all be clear when Jesus comes. Why don't we use think time to share the Gospel with our neighbors, co-workers, friends? What say?
I don't think at all that believing in a Pre-trib makes you sin. If you take the bible literally, I think pre-trib holds better.
But the point to remember is that the end time sections aren't like absolute (We know the end but not parts before it) in contrast to lets say Jesus saying He is the "the way, the life, the truth"; there is no doubt about that.
We basically don't know what all happens in the end. (Like say, the first seal being the 911 attacks - no certainty of that)
Mormon Jesus, the health, wealth prosperity gospel are false doctrines. Not a pre-tribulation view. You can't draw conclusions about something you are not sure about and something that hasn't happened yet. It will all be crystal clear when Christ comes back.

Paul in 1Th 4:17 is talking about the "rapture" to Jerusalem with Jesus after the 1500 mile square Temple comes down from Heaven and smashes the one that will be made with hands.

Its not a strange revelation. I am talking about words written 350 years prior to Paul. They have been available to everyone to read for the last 2350 years. What is "strange" is how lazy everyone is to just accept what Paul says even though it contradicts the Messiah. Read Plato's works and compare them to what Paul wrote. I was so angry the first time someone tried to tell me rapture was a lie. And that Shabbat was Saturday not Sunday... so I went to prove them wrong. And guess what? I learned about Shabbat, Pesach, Feast of Trumpets, Sukkot, etc.. I learned from Scripture what you never hear in a Christian church. And if only the folks who try to defend the false rapture along with their pagan holidays and Sun-days would read and follow scriptural feasts they would understand the plan from beginning to end.

pre trib rapture is a false doctrine. When Yashua spoke of the removal of the church he never mention that it will be rapture rather that the One World Government will ban people from worshiping Yahweh. Thus, the removal of the church. I have pray so much for this understanding. So, my advice is to read scriptures. There is nothing that talks about a pre tribulation rapture in the Bible.

It's the name Jesus in Hebrew. Sometimes, though, you will see Jesus name in the orginal language written as Yeshua. Yahusha or Yeshua - they both are the names of Jesus in Hebrew. I hope not to suprise you, but when Jesus walked the earth, no one called him "Jesus." His name was Yeshua. Jesus is only His name in English. Many Christians today have decided to say Yeshua or Yahushua instead of Jesus in order to return to the orginal orgins. Look the topic up on youtube!

The name of Jesus is one. God named His son Yeshua, not Jesus, but through the natural course of linguistic change the word became Jesus. God did not write the King James Version. It is a human translation that contains many errors, including calling Passover "Easter" in the book of Acts.
Of course not! YHWH doesn't change, but language does! Language has been changing since the tower of Babel. Linguistics have traced all languages back to 14 language families. Now look at how many lanugaes there are. Believe it or not, every year there are new dialects and lots of language change (I have studied linguistics in college). The KJV has many errors, but hey they did a pretty good job considering the KJV was translated in 1611. Translations since then have tried to fix the errors.

I don't know anything unless it's written in Scripture! I do believe Hebrew is the original language however even it has changed over time- the Hebrew alphabet has changed at least twice and pronunciations of several letters have changed- but I believe the original pure Hebrew will also be restored - I'll write u more offline about that and give u a link to another youtube channel I found with more info on that.
Jesus' Hebrew name isn't any more His real name than His English name. Jesus has eternally existed. The Hebrew language has only existed for a few thousand years. It's like people who call Mary the mother of God.
God did write the King James Bible which can be proven by the fact the KJB is perfect and contains no errors. Acts 12:4 is talking about the Pagan festival of Easter which comes after Passover. Passover in this context would be nonsensical, coming after itself.
I agree with what you are saying about Jesus' name. This whole discussion only started when I answered a youtuber's question, "who is yahushua?" Easter was not a Roman holiday but a Germanic one. Easter was first written about in the 8th century AD by St. Bede. The goddess Ēastre (or Ēostre) was a Germanic goddess, not a godess known by Romans living in the 1st century when the book of Acts was writen. So why then do all translations since the KJV say passover instead of Easter?
Another question: if you believe the KJV is without error, do you also believe in the KJV Bible codes? I personally believe in the Bible codes of the orginal Hebrew and Greek (b/c that is what God wrote) but not the Biblecode for KJV. 3 years before the election, I saw on the Internet that according to the KJV Biblecode, the next US Pres. would be a woman, thus the person would probably be Hiliary. Then when she didn't win, the same site said that this woman was candidate Vice Pres Palin.

This is so simple, God never misses an opportunity to take his elect through the fire, we go through it by hanging on to him. John, the same writer, used the same words "tereo ek" in John 17:15 "My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from (tereo ek) the evil one."

No, the false prophets have told me, that the "Messiah" will come this year, at first in February, June and August. Don't forget the earthquake of Haiti. This is one of the first signs of Matthew 24, 7.

Jesusisposttrib, I haven't read all of the conversation here but I wanted to interject that I was just reading Polycarp's letter to the Phillipians this morning. It is so good. I love Polycarp. When I read his letters I am humbled and it reminds me how I should live in today's world. He is a precious brother. I wish I had his love and hope to become more like Yeshua as he was. Richard, you know the verses that the people use to prove the pre-trib... I don't see how it says that he is going to come before the trib. As a matter of fact Paul, in Corinthians, never said it would be after or before, it's just man that puts words in his mouth. But Jesus did say after, and like you said, everytime Christ spoke of his return he would say after.

I live in the SouthEast USA. The "Bible Belt". This area is so deeply vested into pretrib Rapture I think it may be possible I be crucified myself for speaking against it. I truly believe this one issue is going to cause as much Kaos, confusion, rioting, panic, fear as any other single issue. And yes..... I really think it is all very near at hand. The signs are just simply to plentiful.

I can think of more than seventy passages of Scripture pre-tribbers use to expound their view. The only problem is they are all used solely on the basis of an underlying assumption that there will be a pre-trib rapture to heaven. A careful study of all these passages without any biased understanding at the outset definately points to a post-trib scenario. The only way to get a viable pre-trib theory is to take these verses completely out of context, shuffle them, and disregard biblical Greek.

I agree Richard! I agree! Is it also possible that God is saying love one another and forgive one another or God will not forgive you? Do you agree this conversation can create division which is something God forbids? There have been a lot of hurtful exchanges as a result of this topic that could have been avoided and I believe no matter what the division, if hurt has been caused that we are seek forgiveness and forgive others. I too am experiencing persecution and rejection from friends and especially family because of my choosing to serve Yahweh over traditions of men and lies taught by the church, so I can relate to your hurt completely. 'one will be taken and one will be left...' this isn't talking about being raptured. In the flood the ones 'taken' by the flood were destroyed. Noah was left. When one is taken and one is left, the ones taken are those who will be destroyed by the wrath of Yahweh. The ones left will still be here, just like Noah. The righteous will inherit the earth, not be raptured. The passage you are posting gives the meaning of 'taken' in the first verse.

That verse can also be read differently to other people. Can you see it from that perspective? The passage would be entirely different read this way- "one will be taken by God from wrath and the other left because of his rigtheousness." It isn't saying that. We have to be careful not to add our own human words. Can you see that? and remember there will be a NEW heaven and a NEW earth.

I'm not too interested in how different people twist the scriptures to their own imaginations. I'm interested in line upon line, precept upon precept. Taking scripture as a whole to interpret the meaning. If I find something that I don't understand I search it out in the other scriptures for a second witness to interpret the meaning- from scripture, not from my imagination or 'itchy ears'. There will be a renewed earth and heavens- renewed with righteousness in the presence of a Righteous King.

My concern is not who is right or wrong right now, my concern is the hurt at what division among believers can cause which is something God forbids. I love God and I love his people. Agreed- and I didn't mean to infer that you did (that's why I said 'my'). Their will be differences of opinion until Messiah returns and reigns. There are many who hurl insults and twist not only the scriptures but words of fellow believers who post comments. I try to stay out of those debates because there is no way to reason with a foul spirit. I do think there are many who are truly seeking to understand however. YHWH knows His children and they know His voice.

Seems to be talking about how the righteous are not mourned or missed by the wicked when they perish, and yet it's a blessing to the righteous to be resting in their graves, sleeping until the resurrection at Yahshua's return. They do not have to endure the wickedness of evil men an longer- when they are awakened there will be a a new King and Righteousness will reign in the renewed Kingdom of YHWH.

I'm a post-tribulationist but i think that both these (pre and post) positions have a valid argument and biblical evidence.
Why do we waste so much time on eschatology? It'll all be clear when Jesus comes. Why don't we use think time to share the Gospel with our neighbors, co-workers, friends? What say?

The theology of a Pre-Trib Rapture is a false doctrine.
The doctrine of the Return of Christ is an Elementary Doctine of the Faith.
Pre-Tribulationism is a SIN, a serious and deceptive sin, which may cause some people to loose their faith.

I don't think at all that believing in a Pre-trib makes you sin. If you take the bible literally, I think pre-trib holds better.
But the point to remember is that the end time sections aren't like absolute (We know the end but not parts before it) in contrast to lets say Jesus saying He is the "the way, the life, the truth"; there is no doubt about that.
We basically don't know what all happens in the end. (Like say, the first seal being the 911 attacks - no certainty of that)

Mormon Jesus, the health, wealth prosperity gospel are false doctrines. Not a pre-tribulation view. You can't draw conclusions about something you are not sure about and something that hasn't happened yet. It will all be crystal clear when Christ comes back.
Just because someone teaches a pre-tribulation rapture, it doesn't make him/her a false teacher. Please don't say that.

Every time I examine a Pastor or prophecy teacher, what happens all to often, is after their writings or interpretations, the last thing that is mentioned is something to the effect of, "...luckily Jesus is coming to whisk us away in the rapture before these things come to pass..." This IMMEDIATELY stirs the Spirit in me and I am turned off from further testing of such spirits...because how can any bible-believing Christian lack the discernment to not see how this theory is clearly folly?

People need just look at what happened when Peter and James confronted Paul in public in the book of Acts. It really boils down to peoples refusal to read the bible for themselves tho, they simply like their ears tickled. There are 2 conditions to literacy 1. Ability and 2. Comprehension. Its not a strange revelation. I am talking about words written 350 years prior to Paul. They have been available to everyone to read for the last 2350 years. What is "strange" is how lazy everyone is to just accept what Paul says even though it contradicts the Messiah. Read Plato's works and compare them to what Paul wrote. Most will not do so they will just accuse. The Messiah said, "do not eat food sacrificed to idols." Paul said, "its ok to eat food sacrified to idols." Who is right?

I was so angry the first time someone tried to tell me rapture was a lie. And that Shabbat was Saturday not Sunday... so I went to prove them wrong. And guess what? I learned about Shabbat, Pesach, Feast of Trumpets, Sukkot, etc.. I learned from Scripture what you never hear in a Christian church. And if only the folks who try to defend the false rapture along with their pagan holidays and Sun-days would read and follow scriptural feasts they would understand the plan from beginning to end.

When Yashua spoke of the removal of the church he never mention that it will be rapture rather that the One World Government will ban people from worshiping Yahweh. Thus, the removal of the church. I have pray so much for this understanding. So, my advice is to read scriptures. There is nothing that talks about a pre tribulation rapture in the Bible.

It's the name Jesus in Hebrew. Sometimes, though, you will see Jesus name in the orginal language written as Yeshua. Yahusha or Yeshua - they both are the names of Jesus in Hebrew. I hope not to suprise you, but when Jesus walked the earth, no one called him "Jesus." His name was Yeshua. Jesus is only His name in English. Many Christians today have decided to say Yeshua or Yahushua instead of Jesus in order to return to the orginal orgins. Look the topic up on youtube!

When Jesus walked the earth, they addressed Him with His Hebrew name, I agree. This was however because they were speaking Aramaic. We are speaking in English, so it's a bit silly to use non-English words while speaking, especially when God Himself chose the name Jesus to give us in the King James Bible that He wrote.

God did not choose the name Jesus. Most people who make that argument don't understand a thing about linguistics. Linguistics 101: Everything changes. All words change and are constantly change. The name of Jesus is one. God named His son Yeshua, not Jesus, but through the natural course of linguistic change the word became Jesus. God did not write the King James Version. It is a human translation that contains many errors, including calling Passover "Easter" in the book of Acts.

Of course not! YHWH doesn't change, but language does! Language has been changing since the tower of Babel. Linguistics have traced all languages back to 14 language families. Now look at how many lanugaes there are. Believe it or not, every year there are new dialects and lots of language change (I have studied linguistics in college). The KJV has many errors, but hey they did a pretty good job considering the KJV was translated in 1611. Translations since then have tried to fix the errors.

Because of sin the original language was confounded and the Word of YHWH becomes more obscure in changing linguistics.

Wow, you seem to really know what you are talking about! So does that orginal language still exhist on the earth? Because I have heard it said that that orginal language is Hebrew, or is that totally wrong. Could you point me to some youtube videos or Internet sites on the topic or type me a message? Thanks.

I don't know anything unless it's written in Scripture! I do believe Hebrew is the original language however even it has changed over time- the Hebrew alphabet has changed at least twice and pronunciations of several letters have changed- but I believe the original pure Hebrew will also be restored - I'll write u more offline about that and give u a link to another youtube channel I found with more info on that.

Jesus' Hebrew name isn't any more His real name than His English name. Jesus has eternally existed. The Hebrew language has only existed for a few thousand years. It's like people who call Mary the mother of God.
God did write the King James Bible which can be proven by the fact the KJB is perfect and contains no errors. Acts 12:4 is talking about the Pagan festival of Easter which comes after Passover. Passover in this context would be nonsensical, coming after itself.

I agree with what you are saying about Jesus' name. This whole discussion only started when I answered a youtuber's question, "who is yahushua?" Easter was not a Roman holiday but a Germanic one. Easter was first written about in the 8th century AD by St. Bede. The goddess Ēastre (or Ēostre) was a Germanic goddess, not a godess known by Romans living in the 1st century when the book of Acts was writen. So why then do all translations since the KJV say passover instead of Easter?

Another question: if you believe the KJV is without error, do you also believe in the KJV Bible codes? I personally believe in the Bible codes of the orginal Hebrew and Greek (b/c that is what God wrote) but not the Biblecode for KJV. 3 years before the election, I saw on the Internet that according to the KJV Biblecode, the next US Pres. would be a woman, thus the person would probably be Hiliary. Then when she didn't win, the same site said that this woman was candidate Vice Pres Palin.

Actually, you fail to see the message that Richard is trying to convey. A lot of people are caught up on this doctrine of Pre-tribulation Rapture. There is nothing in the scriptures that points to such an event.

Good message. YHVH may conceal the meaning of His words until His time to reveal comes, but He NEVER misleads. The pre-trib rapture contradicts the straightforward words of Yeshua in Matt 24. Most pre-tribbers can't wait for Jesus to airlift them off earth leaving the "Jews" to suffer 7 years for rejecting Jesus. All while the Baptists are chugging alcohol-free grape juice with Jesus in heaven.

I knew about the Scofield bible, and thought that this was the root of where the Pre-Trib theory was born. Now, I will need to look into Darby & Irving.
Also wanted to add, Rev 6:11 has always been of special importance to me, its a verse has been my rock & kept me from being led astray, its worthy of some deep consideration for pre-tribbers.

daryllawson He is correct about no pre-trib rapture but wrong about a 7 year period and a 3 1/2 year tribulation. 42 months has to do with 30 days a month 1260 prophetic days = 1260 years of the rule of the roman catholic church. The millions of Christian martyrs weren't mentioned by Christ???? It's just the special people in the last years ???? Did Christ just ignore 2 thousand years of Christian persecution?
