Actually, he does hit every note, it's just a different version, he likes to change little things in every song. He is just as good as in 1992, if not better.;) He's one of those artists who's voices haven't aged one second. I didn't think the girl was such a bit talent, but maby she didn't get the choice to show it. This is a song for men(a very hard song for men:P)

I believe he is at his prime right now. He may not look as good as before, but he is better vocally. His voice has aged a bit, but for the better. He's deaper but can still hit high notes and he can go lower, but way more powerful than before.
