I just dont get it: there was a gang of at least 8 murderers they MUST have left loads of DNA evidence. How come PSNI/Garda cannot find those responsible? Why is holding sb responsible so complicated in NI? How come it's possible to catch a murderer after decades after they committed their crime, yet the police cannot find 8 murderous scum who must live in the area. It's just beyond my comprension.

@curlyheadify you dont understand dna evidence do you? for them to get anything off the dna left they have to test against suspects, coz ther is no database that hold peoples dna builds, so the killers could have slit their wrists, wanked and got a haircut next to the body but if they dont suspect these people of being involved, they wont be caught

@rakimisking what I was trying to say was how come police in general are more often than not able to find one person that has committed murder, yet in this particular case they have problems finding 8 (eight) culprits. It's just beyond me. DNA would be only one way of trying to find those responsible. I'm not expecting much from police in general (esp my country's), I'm not expecting them to have the brains of Sherlock Holmes's but for god's sake why are the police soooo ineffective in NI/ROI?
