There are few things funnier than two computer programs arguing over which one is the better. A bit like the "Mac-vs-PC" commercials, only both are being jerks to each other.
@jayfeatherjunkie - in the realm of the show, it messed it up because it would show that Starfleet didn't pay enough attention to the fact that Bashir might've been genetically altered based on skills and would give them a bad eye.
In the show's eye - it put them in a conundrum that had they decided to find a way to say "reprogram" the EMH during Voyager and had Siddig guest star for a time, they couldn't because they painted themselves into the corner of he shouldn't be in starfleet.
You know, I really wish that they had not done the whole genetic engineering issue with Bashir, because it basically took out the chance that Alexander Siddig could've played a LMH in "Voyager" in case Robert Picardo needed to take a break or even just for a lark, i.e. the Doctor wanted to try different "skins" of sort and got stuck temporarily as Bashir's visage.
@jadewarlock either way wouldnt of been possible because voyager was lost in the delta quadrants years before this Episode, so voyager wouldnt have gotten the lastest update of anything, much along a new Emh update
@wendywilliamsfans Hey a girl can dream can't she? Besides, if they had needed a guest star doctor, they could've written a script to where they had to reprogram the EMH and it reverted to one of the doctors in the show's history.
Then again - my favorite doctors were Bashir, the EMH and of course McCoy. My luck it would've been Crusher - I liked Pularski far better.
@jadewarlock I liked Pulaski too, but Emh was my all time favorite, dr. bashir was cool up into they brung that genetic altered mess in, it changed what his character was

I'm guessing this occurred before all the Mark I's were sent to clean up all the plasma conduits.

I love how, when the LMH smacks down the EMH, Julian smirks at the latter, a la, "Ouch--you just got OWNED!"
And then the LMH changes targets....

They should make an EMH or LMH out of Dr. Phil ...

I love this scene. At 1:29-1:35 LMH Bashir gives Dr. Bashir the most condescending look ever.
