Hey Jason, that was really cool! I was at GSFC just the same year to meet the others of the RJ Project :) I am missing those times at P.R.A.O. haven't heared Jupiter since March, last year :( Radio Astronomy is one of the most magical things I ever managed to try! Keep on!

Just to respond to a couple people above me: a video camera won't create significantly more RFI than the computer and all the power supplies and stuff, and the bunker is somewhat shielded anyway. Nice explanations too.

ahh well i know starting last year NRAO imposed no digital or video cameras past the gates, since they were causing a lot of interference

Thats something new then. I havnt been there in a while. Guess I will have to find an old style film camera!

HA! theres someo of the stuff we left there...luckily we are going back this year... also so you know your videotaping caused interference that might have screwed up your scan likely

The 40fts bunker is underground so I dont think the GBT heard us. I think the GBT is usually down for scheduled maintenance while we SARA members are there.
