  • only Amiga ~ get it ~ get it :)

  • 3:10 I guess the narrator is actually Duke Nukem.

    Or it just me?

  • All this is great... now draw some porn on that thing!

  • Holly shit 1:37 BIN LADEN !!!

  • @megajiman LOL! And one second after Bin Ladin someone shoots a missile at him xD

  • I just threw out all those SHITTY xbox 360, playstation 3 and Wii. No more my SHITTY pentium 5 computer. To hell with those sega mega drives, snes or atari jaguar. Suddenly it all became so clear. Everything suddenly is so clear. Amiga is a god and the rest are not-tight-piece-of-some-kind-of-a-shit ! Suddenly the gods enlighted me ! Now I know what I want from my life and the world !

    ONLYYYYYYYYYYY AAAAAAAMIGAAAAAAAAAAA !!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

  • It's still more advanced than we are today...

  • amiga was able to do all that with only 1mb of ram back then, now to do exact same thing u need like 512mb at minimum or not even 1gb.if amigas would continued to develop we would be playing gta 4 on amigas in year 1999!

  • double meaning...only the Amiga and OWN THE AMIGA...thats COOL!

  • i loved my 500 and miss it so

  • where can I get a Minimig?

  • @Biopharmer

Acube Srl 100 euros and something, but you need case, PSU< joysticks, Amiga mouse

and some monitor. And a PC with card reader to copy ADF files.

  • Amiga is the best!.We should all raise some money and revive this system. I still miss the easy use of workbench, the understandable use of all programs and the great games with the best game music ever. Most people say pc sucks but Amiga really needed to be saved from Commodore. Commodore had a lot of rules on how to use the machine. Developpers had a lot of issues with COM. because of the code restrictions. Gates didn't use these restrictions and that's one the reasons Amiga died. A damn shame

  • @PrimeAmsterdam I agree Amiga gave me a taste of things to come in the Future. Much better Computers-multi tasking - Music ..Amiga in self was the precursor to a greater World of Technology.

  • i want this song at my wedding

  • I just threw my computer against the wall

Im buying an amiga 500 right now damn it!!

The Amiga 500 brainwashing program did nothing to me

  • Every time i see footage like this makes me wanna cry! No, really, it might sound dumb, but this machine deserved a better future... It's coming back now through a new mobo by a-eon, but i doubt it'll be a "computer for the masses". The fun is all gone now.. Stick to whatever retro hardware you have folks!

  • @1billthekid The death of commodore is a lesson in the importance of marketing. They had the best hardware by far in the mid 80s, but Apple created the buzz.

  • @1billthekid :(

  • A500-A200 can be expand to 8mb!!

  • Actually it can be expanded to 9 MB. 512 KB Chip RAM + 512 KB Slow RAM via the trap door on the bottom and 8 MB Fast RAM via the side expansion slot.

  • "Expandable to 1 full Megabite!" classic!

  • Pinball Dreams, destroyed my bloody keyboard. and in effect my amiga.

A bit of super glue saved the day ,but not for long.

  • It was a great computer but the metaphorical masturbation in this promotional video makes me squirm!

  • Thank you for share this video!!!

  • Amiga was quality stuff and I can't reconcile to waste of such an outstanding potential. Amiga Inc. is dead but Amiga society is still alive and PeeZee is still frustrating and unreliable piece of crap producing lots of hot air...

    Anyway, I got A1200.

  • Well, in relative performance off the day. It could play crysis on full.

  • hey, at 3:47, i can hear there a windows starting jingle :-)

  • at 4:44 you can also see that the apple logo was created on an amiga ;)

  • The Apple logo was made in 1980. A bit before the Amiga.

  • only amiga.not shitty pc.

  • Wow, that song is cheese factor 10! This is sitll utterly brilliant though.

  • Go John Laws! Back when he wasn't using Valvoline to slip into those pants - lol.

Man, I remember this video playing in K-Mart - used to draw small crowds because frankly, nothing like it was possible with any other platform. We really didn't see anything better until the original PlayStation appeared back in 1994...!

  • well back in 1986 when the PCs were a piece of shite, watching an Amiga was just a jaw-dropping experience. even its external design made sense. these guys were 20 years ahead of their time. try to find a 20 year old computer and compare it with Amiga, and you'll see how advanced this beauty was

  • Cheesy video. Amiga was the best computer at the time. No other computer could compete with Amiga's games, music, applications, etc. It didn't really catch on for 'business' applications , so it bit the dust. Too bad if it was out today it would probably have a better operating system than Windows!!

  • the comodore amiga. The best and most reliable computers, it is very underated machine. like on the video, only amiga makes it posssible!

  • @m134mr underated? you having a laugh? the amount of people who bang on about how good it was back in the day. The Atari ST was the underated one.

  • Geeky ass music.

  • Well if you are talking about by today's standards, then your comment is probably one of those misguided and pathetic comments i have seen. Throw yourself back to the time of its release, it was the best of its time.

  • No, I mean the movie shows 3D graphics and music making programs, but my amiga won't run stuff like that because of some workbench thing. and the movie fails to mention it takes ages to load.

  • Sorry for my own misguided response mate, thanks for clarifying :)

  • What is "Because of some workbench thing" supposed to mean? My Amiga 500 worked perfectly with music and graphics back then... I know a guy who ran a TV station with an Amiga 2000. And what you call "ages" is probably compared to today's standards, not 1987. It was simply the best, back then.

  • Also, ages to load? My Amigas booted in around 2-10 seconds, my Windows 7 PC takes around 2 minutes. I think you had a badly set up machine, or didn't know how to use it properly.

  • @techguruuk Amigas with hard drives boot in a matter of seconds, the floppy-based ones take almost as long as Windows.... almost.

  • @techguruuk Me and friend borrowed a Hacker Utility boot disc program for Amiga. Remade it with our own programs like Directory master. Power Packer! X copy. And several other useful programs. It would even boot up in less than a minute with an options menu and play a cool sound sample from a song. It fooled an IBM guy into thinking he had a hd inside his Amiga 500 which he didn't..

  • some workbench thing? The OS you mean? It is fully capable of doing everything in this video.

  • @nakawoopahkapooski Funny, because my amiga runs Octamed SS and lightwave just fine.

  • AMiGA 4 EVER !

  • only Amiga

  • Only Amiga - lol!
