  • where can I find sheet music of this?

  • Ya guys know he is an assistant professor at UNM, right?

  • What is the musical interest of playing so fast? without any sound?

where is the musical phrasing? where is the beautiful sound?

To me it's nothing more than a low noise...

that's not what will put the tuba at the same rank as violine or piano.

Think about how you represent your instrument!

  • @Csboots6 MUSIC IS WHAT I CALL MUSIC

  • OMG! I know him!

he came to my school and offered me lessons (i play baritone)

hes an amazing player and tall! he's like 6'8

  • the only thing thats bad with him is his checks r out alot tho but other then that hes great i loved the hole thing

  • playing too fast

  • great piece and well done!

where can i get the score???

    can anyone help?

  • what the farrrrt!????????????????

  • @rawtuba firstly i am a JAZZ trumpeter... secondly that was the OTHER trumpet player out of tune... I could outplay on your own tuba.... NOTHING about this was MUSICAL.... there was barely any ACTUAL notes being played... it sounds like someone buttfucking a MULE.....YOU SUCK DUDE

  • @JSUTrumpet AHAHAHA!!!! Dude, I'm straight up laughing at your ass. After listening to your clips, talking to you is a waste of time. I'm done. Turn off your computer and go practice. Thats advice you need to hear. You're better at talking trash than playing your horn....

  • @joegraytrumpet lets hear you play.. who have you played for?!?!?!

  • @JSUTrumpet NMSO, principal trumpet of opera southwest, two naxos recordings, live performance on NPR's Performance Today, Blue Devils, Vivaldi double concerto performance with the associate principal of Montreal, am about to start my DMA as a Bolz Fellow at a school better than JSU... i could keep going. Fact is, your mouth writes checks your talent can't match. You need to learn some humility.

  • @joegraytrumpet PWNED

  • @JSUTrumpet you have one decent recording up, and the rest are bad. Take a look in the mirror before you start to criticize others... much less extremely talented tubists that have jobs... what do you have? nothing but a loud mouth and no job.

  • @rawtuba you are not play at the same tempo... and this doesnt groove...

  • @JSUTrumpet "you are not play"?.... what does that mean? If you're going to slight someone's playing online, at least use language we all understand.

also... Yes, it grooves... And no, it doesn't sound bad. It's extended brass techniques. Don't worry JSU... you'll get there someday.

  • @joegraytrumpet I smell a dick rider... lol... you probably never even heard the real song man... this sounds nothing like it.... get off his dick.. BTW i am better than you on trumpet

  • @JSUTrumpet HAHAHAHA! You are truly the owner of an unimpressive intellect. You've never even heard me play before, chances are you think you're better than you are. Of course I've heard the original. It's not hard to find. Posting stuff like "dick rider" is embarrassing. Saying it doesn't groove because YOU can't seem to subdivide is hilarious... If your musicianship is as low as your vocabulary, then you are a terrible trumpet player.

  • @joegraytrumpet my vocab is more extensive than yours man... i have nothing to prove to anyone on youtube... this sounds bad... whether you like it or not.....

  • @JSUTrumpet so you state that you are a better trumpet player than me (while never having heard me play) & that you have a more extensive vocabulary (while most of your posts sound like they were written by a 5th grader? Dude... you're wrong. All you've said is that you can't feel the groove... What else don't you like? What sounds bad? The one thing I don't like is the recording quality. It could be better. Kudos to him for putting his own personal stamp on something.

  • @JSUTrumpet Also I listened to some of your clips.... you really aren't great. A high note here & there, but your sound is bland, your intonation is mediocre & your musicality is immature. That recording of the bach fugue is just plain awful. Go back to the practice room & stop posting pointless crap on the internet.

  • @JSUTrumpet pwned Perhaps you should take some time and prove to yourself that you have the knowledge and understanding of a subject matter before you run your mouth and make a fool of yourself. Doesn't matter if you are online. "JSU" in your name represents you and your school. Is that what they teach down there? Your ignorance astounds. Good day young man.

  • @JSUTrumpet You just said that you smell dick... HAHAHAHA!

  • Why are you playing this so fast??? not calling you a bad tuba player... but this sounds bad

  • im a tuba player and im trying to have a good sound. And i need a lil help

becuz i want to be the best tuba player

  • Nice man!

Can you write this up on a program like finale, or the like? Thanks!

  • Did you get The Warrior Comes Out to Play just by listening by ear, or did you get sheet music from somewhere? It's sounding great.

  • You're obviously a great tubist, but it just ain't funky all fast like that...sounds real straight...not feeling it at all..

Slow it down and let it flow..

  • Hey, man. Would you be willing to let us know where you got the sheet music from, or is this something you transposed yourself? I'm a trombone looking to learn more about this type of playing, just on trombone, so if you could help me out, that'd be great.

  • have you got midi of this plz???

  • No, I have no midi file for this song. Sorry.

  • sheet music (the notes ) i really wanna learn it :)

  • Who is this music by?

  • a solo by sousa player Nat McIntosh formerly of the Young Blood Brass Band. He is da BOMB.

  • Nat Mcintosh. He plays with the Sote Voce quartet now. Used to play with Youngblood Brassband

  • Sotto Voce quartet!

  • Wow... I'm a tool. lol. Thanks for the correction.

  • I asked Nat Macintosh to play this live when there were only three people in the room, apart from the four in Sotto Voce. It was epic.

  • Yeah, Richard!

  • can you send me the sheet music please.
