Very good video. I often find myself wondering why normal is normal, or why sane is sane and what would happen if it were all backwards? Like if they put you away for being sane because everyone else was insane? What is normal then? Nowadays if you are a "normal" person, you are an outcast. Unique, weird, strange, those things are socially accepted now.
Now, if you don't have something strange or unique about you, you will be blurred into nonexistence. Lost.
@JaxAndCoke True. And if you use that on the small, almost insignificant things in our lives, it becomes clear that we could do things differently without having to change anything else.
To be honest, ik sta er elke keer even bij stil wanneer ik het woord "normaal" gebruik, alsof het me verrast. Norm-aal, volgens de norm. Normen als gedragscodes die ons voorschrijven hoe we ons dienen te gedragen. Angstaanjagend als je het mij vraagt! Goeie video Chris.
@kenhermans en het bizarre is dat die normen vaak door niemand nog echt in vraag gesteld worden. Ze zijn er gewoon... Het systeem houdt zichzelf in stand.
