  • Some of the band would drop by Moes in Sydney. once in a while. Bobby would often sit alone on a stool by the window eating his Captain Capers Fish & Chips, reading the paper. To this day I really believe that the "red" album is the greatest rock and roll record to ever come out of the Maritimes. And as much as I love Minglewoods music, I still miss Enver and his harp. He made them sound different and unique. They were a very tight band right from the go.

  • Talk about bringing back memories! The old Moon was my nemisis! Too much fun....

  • El Macambo....spelling people!

  • What an awsome band. Minglewood is still going as strong as ever 32 years later, and sounding as good today as he did back then.

  • Holly shit ,I saw Minglewood at Sackville High school in 79, Me and my brother helped the rodies pack the truck after the show! I still have the poster they gave us. good ol times.....

  • Ah, the winter of '79. Takes me back to the old Misty Moon on Gottingen Street in Halifax wasted and well after three in the morning when the band used to close down the night with this one. I was going to Dal then and saw these guys a lot that year. I think Matt and the boys were at their absolute best at that time. Great stuff, great times. Wish I could go back for one more night.

  • Minglewood Band at it's Finest.
