  • Good tutorial, i just got into the sport? of resin making and this guide has help me a lot. Thank you for that.

  • Hello new to resin kits.. where did you buy your tamiya epoxy? I do not see it on amazon... Thanks ahead of time!!

  • Thank you very much!!!!

  • Why use Bondo ? It is Toxic & Flamable and it stinks up your work area....... Use Aves for every thing when it comes to resin kits.......

  • Your making way to much work for yourself. Couple tips you should use a tooth pick when putting on the putty its alot more accurate. Also drop the tamiya epoxy. Use CA glue with accelerator..

Put the glue on one side of the part hold the two parts together then spray you have an instant bond then apply putty then just sand.. You have no gap what so ever everytime if done right Another thing there is this puty from 3m its blue this stuff is very good might want to check it out.

  • I totally used the idea of red bondo on my figures. Works perfect - thanks for a rocking good idea. when will you post your next tut???? great job

  • yea you've inspired me to order a resin kit from hobbyfan.. is that were you get your kits?? i've been on there for a while looking at stuff.. for an entire year trying to figure out if im ready :P im currently working with polymer clay..

  • your beutiful and smart crazy combo

  • ps...your hawt ;)

  • lol @ woot

  • You video's are helping so much

  • Hey. Your tuts are awesome, I'm really learning a lot in preparation for my embarking into this grand hobby! But a quick question: how do you remove the Vaseline from the side of the joint with putty on it without damaging the putty?

  • I use a little soap on an old toothbrush followed by a rinse.

  • YOU ARE A WINNER!YOU ARE A WINNER!

  • M_Candy thanks for doing these, even though I've been doing this for years your videos are still really interesting and useful :D

  • Just a tip, if your in a contry that can get milliput use it instead of the tamaya putty. It's cheeper and much more useable. Sand your going to stick the putty to with 100 grit paper then get the milliput wet (it can be used under water if needed), then do everything as in the video. When the peice is drying after say 30 mins, get your finger and wet it, then run it round the joint untill its perfectly smooth. you wont need to sand it if you get this right. :D

  • A tip for u.scratch the surface with a sharp tool and then apply the tamiya putty it will stick better.;D.

  • What kind of putty do you use? I know the one is bondo, but I couldn't tell exactly what the one is you use with the skewer.

  • Never mind. I'm a dork. That Tamiya stuff looks like it behaves better than Milliput though.

  • Just letting you know again that I'm really appreciating this. I haven't gotten much time to work on my figure yet, but I'm slowly but surely following along.

    :)

  • Just finished pinning. I had troubles when I accidentally drilled all the way through the figure at the neck area. I patched it up with some putty and sanded it smooth. I also drilled too big a hole on the neck area so I used epoxy glue to hold down the pin. Part 2 and part 2a really helped a lot.

  • Glad I could help! Which kit are you working on?

  • Really thanks for that, I was looking tutorials videos because I want to start with my first kit, and again from Venezuela thanks. But when you going to upload the four video? I can't wait :)

  • I know I take forever bringing these silly things out! I should have finished them all then brough them out each week lol. I'm half way threw it so hopefully I will be done next week! Woot!

  • Dont worry I will wait as proper

  • part 4 primer is up now! Woot!

  • Thanks for making some great tutorials you rock XD

  • Haha, another awesome video tutorial. My first should be here in a week so these are amazing helpful videos <3

  • Very nicely done. This is the sort of quality I don't expect to see on youtube, but I've very pleasantly surprised. I can't wait to see you take this piece further along.

  • exelente, desde Bolivia se te agradece este gran aporte

  • excited for primer!

  • OMG thank you! I have most of the basic supplies that I need to start off my first kit, and this video really helped a lot.
