Pakistan is the key, as long as the Taliban & Al-queda have a safe haven in Pakistan, they will have a place to regroup. One solution is to invade that section of Pakistan where the Taliban & Al-queda operate. But that would anger the Pakistan, so the other tactic is to pressure Pakinstan government to attack these areas.
Or the other option is to insert commando groups & use predator to lokcate & attack key targets. That has proven quite successful, henc ethe reason these type of operation have increased in Pakistan. So sucessfull they have interdicted & ambushed guerilla troops penetrating Afgan territory. Even killed leaders of these groups.

the kurds werent being "used" by turks. it happens kurds and armenians were both living in eastern anatolia. when the russians took control of the area, the armenians started ethnically cleansing muslim villages, and most of these muslim villages happened to be kurdish. so the kurds naturally retaliated, the government tried wherever it could to separate the two groups, by relocating the armenians to syria, and hence a genocide myth was born.

Pakistan is the key, as long as the Taliban & Al-queda have a safe haven in Pakistan, they will have a place to regroup. One solution is to invade that section of Pakistan where the Taliban & Al-queda operate. But that would anger the Pakistan, so the other tactic is to pressure Pakinstan government to attack these areas.
