In my opinion and the opinion of alot of others Billy is the greatest fiddle player that ever lived. He won the Academy of Country Music fiddler of the year award for thirteen consecutive years. He played on numerous records and with numerous stars and bands.
I worked opposite Billy Armstrong in the Stateline Casino in Wendover NV for four weeks in April 1977..three shows per day in the lounge..It was an honor to work with the best fiddle player I ever saw and hung out with.

this is my dads best friend when they lived in orange ca.many years ago.nobody can play orange blossom special like billy,hes the greatest ever!!
