whats wrong with soft?, Megadeth and Metallica will always be the better musicians because they tried different styles and approaches to their music. I find Slayer brutal and absolutely amazing but Metallica and Megadeth prove that they are not repeatitive band playing the same kind of material plus they dont always make songs about death, blood, destruction and religion all the time.
