  • I can't believe how little the horn is used, here in the states, they blow at every crossing and then some.

  • Yes, good footage and nice to hear the crossing bells, not these awful silly new electronic 'warblers' that they are replacing them with. Keep up the good work!

  • Good clip and a steady one, for once. Interesting to see it from the "flight deck" for once.

  • Thanks, yeah I have heaps of hand held footage from the passenger seat but its rather "shaky". So decided to try putting the camera on top of the control stand, and it works really well.

  • You no! ive never been through ngaruawahia on a cab or train or whatever ! it looks fun haha! Ived lived here for years and still nah! as in ive lived in ngaruawahia! haha

  • You're lucky to get a cab ride like that.

I scored a cab ride on a freight across the Nullarbor about 1983 but I bet you couldn't do that now.

BTW nice sound . EMD power ?

  • Thanks, yeah I consider myself lucky to go for cab rides. Going across Nullabor would have been interesting. Yep sure is a nice sound, and yes its EMD power.
