What can i say?Words to be said, has been writen by other family.I will only say thank u to SIR PATRICK IDAHOSA and all listener around the world.EDORODION.
What a crispy-crunchy music. Still very delicious and palatable to the ear, like a new release. May your soup or legacy never go sour. Your music video shows a sleek healthy dynamic body that did not fatten himself away. You are a legendary fixture to we the benins at home-at large. May you live forerver young and healthy !!!!!!!! Pedro Osa Atekha
Na who be this? Oh Boy, what a music. Do want to kill m e with feelings of nostalgia? I miss home so much. Love you man. God bless you for this posting. For spending your precious time to do this, may you never lack and may God replenish you, Amen. Long Live BINI Kingdom. Oba gha to' okpere, Ise!
Patrick Idahosa was castigated for speaking against adulterous practices among Benin women all in the name of Naira (Money). Today, we all have seen the moral decadence being showcased by Benin women and ladies all over the world. Whatever "spell" that may have been cast on him will come to no effect in the long run because in the Holy Bible (Matt 5: 1-12), Jesus said BLESSED ARE THEY PERSECUTED FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS SAKE; FOR THEIRS IS THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. May God bless PATRICK IDAHOSA & FAMILY.
Planetolusola thanks a million for loading the evergreen Parick Idahosa to the you tube,God bless your gesture. Can somebody help search for more Idahosa pleaseeeeeee ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡.
It's unfortunate that his career ended in a mysterious way, for raising an issue that was going to sooner or later burst out. Only in Nigeria or Africa that could happen. God bless Patrick Idahosa.
Patrick Idahosa is a gifted song writer, composer & singer. He was very prolific during his reign. All the songs in his album are almost always hits. It was sad to see him disappeared from public consciousness into oblivion. Some people rumoured that his downfall is traceable to the song he sang about Benin women - that the Naira induced them into adulterous acts. My uncle was fond of playing his melodious songs repeatedly at Ujemen-Ekpoma.
Patrick Idahosa was a promising young man. All his musical tunes had underlying sad or undisclosed painful tunes. This was actually revealed in one of his great tracks about Benin women - that the Naira induced them into adulterous acts. He seemed to have fore-saw the massive movement of females from Benin to Italy, all in search of naira! Patrick is vindicated by history. All those who punished him for saying the truth should go and apologized. I hope he is alive and healthy!
@joedonn50 The truth, they say, is very bitter. Patrick Idahosa spoke the bitter truth about the naira inducing “some” Benin women into adulterous acts (or prostitution) called “oghele” in Edo language, and some Benin women reportedly stripped themselves stark naked and cast a spell on him (at least so the story goes) for dare to tell the truth. Now that the chicken have finally come home to roost, I think they should tender an unreserved apology to him.
@joedonn50 They way our girls (i.e.; Benin girls) regale in prostituting their bodies outside the shores of Nigeria (Italy being the Headquarters), I think it’s high time someone cast a spell on them. They tarnish the image of everything “Benin”. Unless some drastic action is taken about it, it’s only a matter of time before the “Benin prostitutes” will take “The Great” out of “The Great Benin Empire”.
A VERY THOUGHTFUL SONG
