I appreciate your courage in facing mormons with biblical truth. I was raised a mormon and poured my heart into it in my 20's. The Lord brought me out of that religion and into REAL christianity. The men in this video showed on the surface the inner hatefulness mormons have towards anyone or thing that opposes the LDS church. I have pity for them. @sensorsweep I've been a Mormon for over 30 years and we DO talk about what we believe! that's what the whole church is about! I have NEVER experienced any "secrets" or anything like that. Everybody has always been very nice and respectful and open and honest and spiritual.

@sensorsweep There are verses in the Bible that are overlooked or misunderstood by mainstream Christian churches. Read A Marvelous Work and a Wonder by LeGrand Richards, which explains about the "many gods" thing. But in any case, we only worship ONE god. That's all we have to be concerned about.

@whatnowman42 There is evidence that the Gospels were written sooner than what you are saying and that Matthew may have been the 1st Gospel. Also, it is well established that Paul wrote 1 Corinthians about 50 AD. There are many creeds within the New Testament that go back to the resurrection of Christ. The Jews were good at writing things down. Also, search "undesigned coincidences".

@whatnowman42 Although it was written 40 years later, it was written by direct witnesses to the life of Jesus. The four Gosphels bear witness to one life. Each written seperately yet remaining consistent many years after the fact. This actaully bears to the truth of the word. Had it been falsified, there is no way their testimonies could have so tightly coincided. Think of as witnesses to a crime. If many years later they hold to the same story, it's more likely true.

@whatnowman42 There is evidence that the Gospels were written sooner than what you are saying and that Matthew may have been the 1st Gospel. Also, it is well established that Paul wrote 1 Corinthians about 50 AD. There are many creeds within the New Testament that go back to the resurrection of Christ. The Jews were good at writing things down. Also, search "undesigned coincidences".

@whatnowman42 Although it was written 40 years later, it was written by direct witnesses to the life of Jesus. The four Gosphels bear witness to one life. Each written seperately yet remaining consistent many years after the fact. This actaully bears to the truth of the word. Had it been falsified, there is no way their testimonies could have so tightly coincided. Think of as witnesses to a crime. If many years later they hold to the same story, it's more likely true.

No, it wasn't - not from my perspective either, so we agree on this (lol). YouTube is hardly the place to give long reasoned responses. I gave you the conclusion, not the reasoned argument against Mormonism. If you want to hear the reasoned argument from history, from the Bible, from your own "holy" books, from philosophy, and from science, then hopefully I'll meet you either at Hill Cumorah next year, or at the Gen. Con. next spring (I did not go to the Gen. Con. this fall)

Not sure what you're trying to say. To be clear, Mormonism is a cancer so I don't condemn those who minister to Mormons different from how I do. Mormons should be sharply rebuked and even mocked at times for their wickedness. The fact that you think that you are entitled to mercy for being involved in a demonic sex cult shows me that you don't even begin to grasp the seriousness of your offense before God (God who created the heavens and the earth and not the other way around).

They are Mormons. They had a tent and table set up on the sidewalk just 30 feet from me. They were indoctrinating people in the Mormon religion and selling Mormon books and DVD's.. These Mormons were upset because they had no answer to the facts I was sharing all week long and also didn't like business hurt.

The Book of Mormon mentions huge cities and wars where hundreds of thousands of people are killed (in Ether 15, at least 2 million people are killed) and these men have STEEL weapons and STEEL armor. There is not a single trace of any of this. Hill Cumorah in upstate NY (a very small hill) is the place where two of these huge battles took place. NO EVIDENCE!!!
In addition, the BOM mentions horses, elephants, bees, etc. pre-Columbus. NO EVIDENCE WHATSOEVER. Mormons LIE.

I have learned over the years that using historical & philosophical arguments in addition to the Biblical/theological approach is an effective way to get Mormons to THINK. They are indoctrinated NOT to think.
This is a 5 minutes of the HOURS I spent in Palmyra each day and the hrs each evening at Hill Cummorah. I use John 14:6 on one of my banners.

This happened to be near the end of the Mormon Pageant in upstate NY and these Mormon men were obviously upset that for 7 days Mormons were coming over and talking with me and were having their beliefs challenged and refuted.
