It’s a pleasure to watch this documentary regarding the growing problem due to in the name of development within the Lepcha(mutanchi) community. Lepchas are the most ancient inhabitants of Sikkim & they have a very rich historical background in Sikkimese mythologies too. It is quite hard to see that the land of eternal purity is gradually becoming polluted & unhygienic. Its not good for the environment & for the precious & extincted wild life..
I hope many people see this video - the situation for the Lepchas in Dzongu is now desperate. The dams must be stopped and Lepcha culture and environment preserved. Kerry, Australia
