THIS is suppose to be the ultimate B.O.W?! What an epic failure! This isn't Bio weapon! This is machinery! Plus he had 5 exposed weaknesses, was beaten in one fight, and by average human weapons! Compare that to William, Alexia and the REAL ultimate bio weapon, Nemesis who went through much worse. Talos is a failure and that's final!

Also look at Nemesis in Umbrella Chronicles. That's the only version of Nemesis you can really compare to T.A.L.O.S. since that's the version that appeared in this style. Had T.A.L.O.S. been done in the traditional style he'd have obviously been fought much differently.

On an open battlefield, it'd be capable of causing more damage. It had a targetting system and anti-vehicle weapon integrated into it's 'suit'. It's basically a walking gun. as a soldier though, Nemesis far outclasses it. more powerful against targets, more flexible as a unit and capable of exploiting the environment in ways Talos can't.

None of them are as fast as Nemesis is NORMALLY. Add to that he can use his limbs properly, unlike T-ALOS.

Nemesis is successful because he is adapted to work in any environment a human can work in. The ultimate anti-human, so to speak. Also, the majority of T-ALOS' weaponry could be disabled with a military grade jammer. Then he'd be forced to fire at random and charge into close combat. it'd be killed before then

I played this game on HARD mode. I remember, I always had to use pistols against these bosses in the end. I still think this game wouldn't be so intresting without HARD mode.
@FullMetal637 your not gonna like it, you have to get an S rank on EVERY (story and side) missions on HARD. then you can upgrade weapons to LV.5 which gives that gun infinite ammo.
This boss is to HARD to defeat. I swear i have the rocket launcher and save up on as much ammo as i can and this TALOS thing always manages to kill me. The other day afte like a year of not playing i managed to get his health level to about 10 percent while mine was full green, however my health was wasted before his! THIS IS TOO HARD
i could not figure out how to properly take out his first form, so i blew all my automatic pistol ammo, and was left with just the reg pistol and a shotgun for the big guy....

i pwned him with pistols shotgun sa and the auto pistol. i used shotguns on the first form shooting the launcher. then i shot at his armor. then he mutated, had to use my pistol, but the auto pistols in back helped to kill him. btw bonbon, just take the mrl i pwned both of the guys in like 3 mins with it or was it 2 idk

Considering T-A.L.O.S. was a response to the Nemesis, I'd say that it failed. catastrophically.

@RPGTKingpin That was only for gameplay convenience. They couldn't actually have Talos stalk you through out the level, hell even Nemesis only appeared in the last part of the RE3 section of this game. And what do you mean Beta stages? Talos is a combining of all the data they put together from the various versions of the tyrant, including Nemesis. And lets not forget the fact that in the main plot line Talos is considered to be the most powerful BOW Umbrella ever made.

Furthermore, Nemesis fought you twice in UC. Talos only faced you once. It's practically stated right there that Nemesis is the more durable of the two.

Talos was refined using the data of Nemesis. And the various other versions of the tyrant.

@Mcmadness288 No. T-A.L.O.S. was NOT the final version of Nemesis. Nemesis was created by Umbrella's European Division. T-A.L.O.S. was the American Branch's attempt to save face when Spencer was impressed. They didn't want the European Division to take the majority of their funding, so they worked to try and and beat them. And failed, might I add...

@Mcmadness288 As for their statement that it's the most powerful, that, AGAIN, is contextual. By most powerful, they mean most powerful in a military setting. On an open battlefield, it'd be capable of causing more damage. It had a targetting system and anti-vehicle weapon integrated into it's 'suit'. It's basically a walking gun. as a soldier though, Nemesis far outclasses it. more powerful against targets, more flexible as a unit and capable of exploiting the environment in ways Talos can't.

@Mcmadness288 If you think Nemesis was slow and lumbering you OBVIOUSLY have not seen Nemesis in action. Nemesis is easily capable of outrunning a human being [He does it repeatedly in the game]. He is the fastest of the Tyrant BOWs after Wesker himself [IF you count Wesker as a Tyrant. If not, then Nemesis is the fastest]. He outruns Talos, Tyrant stage 2, even Birkin stage 4. None of them are as fast as Nemesis is NORMALLY. Add to that he can use his limbs properly, unlike T-ALOS.

@RPGTKingpin No you see, Nemesis can CHARGE people. Meaning run in a straight like directly at his opponent, however he CANNOT actively maneuver himself like Talos can. Talos despite his bulkier appearance is actually much more agile.

@Mcmadness288 Go take another look. Nemesis can do practical 100 degree turns on a dime while 'charging'. T-ALOS is bulkier, slower and less capable of combat in an urban environment. Nemesis is successful because he is adapted to work in any environment a human can work in. The ultimate anti-human, so to speak. Also, the majority of T-ALOS' weaponry could be disabled with a military grade jammer. Then he'd be forced to fire at random and charge into close combat. it'd be killed before then

@Mcmadness288 Finally, It's fairly obvious from the size and appearance and awkward nature of Talos that it'd be useless in an urban setting. It can't go through buildings in pursuit of targets or to escape superior firepower. It can't go through alleys to cut off targets, and it can't evade attackers easily and is forced to take the damage directly. Nemesis? can do all of the above, plus set up traps.

It can't move through buildings to pursue targets or evade superior firepower, it can\t move through alleys to cut off targets, and it is so large that it has trouble evading it's attackers, and must simply stand up to the damage, something that any soldier will tell you is inevitably fatal. Nemesis, by contrast, can do all that, AND set traps

@FullMetal637 your not gonna like it, you have to get an S rank on EVERY (story and side) missions on HARD. then you can upgrade weapons to LV.5 which gives that gun infinite ammo.

This boss is to HARD to defeat. I swear i have the rocket launcher and save up on as much ammo as i can and this TALOS thing always manages to kill me. The other day afte like a year of not playing i managed to get his health level to about 10 percent while mine was full green, however my health was wasted before his! THIS IS TOO HARD

@roannejohn yeah. infinite ammo is dumb. it takes away the entire resident evil experience. the classic scenario of run up and down corridors desperately searching for ammo while glancing behind your shoulder expecting the worst.

i pwned him with pistols shotgun sa and the auto pistol. i used shotguns on the first form shooting the launcher. then i shot at his armor. then he mutated, had to use my pistol, but the auto pistols in back helped to kill him. btw bonbon, just take the mrl i pwned both of the guys in like 3 mins with it or was it 2 idk
