  • Important.... Do not lose weight this way.

    People need to stop trying to find short cuts.

    The answer is simple Exercise & don't eat crap. When I say exercise this mainly means WEIGHTS! Yes women too. Don't argue. Walk too.

    Food. Biggest enemy is Wheat. 2nd is sugar.

    Cabbage soup is ok but not this much. Overdose is possible.

    A friend & I tried a cabbage soup day, no tomato or carrot though. Nothing else but water. The result? Tag teaming the toilet frothing FROTHING at the ass.

  • i tried this diet two years ago it workd but the soup was yaaaaaaaaak and i gained my lost weight again, so it wasnt 100% positive for me,

  • I'm eager to understand more info on weight loss diets - I've been utilizing numerous DietOramy diet system program (discovered it on Google) for numerous time now and I'm honestly losing weight and am excited about it!

  • Very well done.

    As much as you hated the diet, you'll probably look back on it and realise that you got some pretty good reward for your efforts, even beyond the weight loss and your funny clip.

    To tell you the truth, your soup looked disgusting. I couldn't see myself lasting a day eating that stuff.

    Adding some garlic, chilli, chicken stock, spices, etc. makes it more tasty. Blending it also helps a lot, as those cabbage chunks get sickening very quickly.

  • There IS such a thing as a bad batch and/or overcooking this soup and I promise you if you do that you will gag. Just one overripe or rotten or molded vegetable will spoil the whole bunch girl! I made the best tasting AND the worst tasting soup from the same recipe. I eat the soup every day as a basis for a better lifelong diet, while throwing in some of the stuff I used to eat as well. I feel better, no headaches, lots of energy, and walk at least 3 miles a day. Also whey shakes after exercise.

  • SECRET: I have done this diet about 15 times over the years and it always works! The thing I personally discovered was that THE SOUP DOES NOT MAKE A DIFFERENCE! So I stopped eating it on the diet and just ate more fruits veggies and drank water in place of it, and I lose just as much, every time. The smell and taste of the soup is what makes most people *Dread* returning to it LOL!

    But it's not needed. Try it without the soup and you will have the exact same results. :-)

  • I just got done doing this yesterday. Had nothing to eat but the cabbage soup and thats it for the whole week. That an water. No other foods. By day 5 I pretty much just starved myself until the diet was over but I made it. Lost 10 lbs. It puts you in a very good state of mind that you accomplished something very very hard an I think the horibble tasting food an the wait is worth that achievement.

  • I find the hardest thing for me when dieting is getting enough nutrition. Smaller portions work, but I’m left hungry and less food= less nutrition. I use nutritional supplements now and eat healthy, full meals.I got started at ryansnutrition com and have my appetite under control.

  • hey i do this diet a few times a year and its really good and effective but i also do intenese workouts also......your headaches and nausea were caused by coming off caffine and sugar cold turkey! i find it very easy because i dont drink caffine or have sugar on a daily basis......dont get me wrong im no health freak i just dont like the buzz off of caffine and i do like sugary sweets from time to time but i can take it or leave it...... id advise ppl to come off caffine n sugar gradualy :)

  • I did the cabbage soup diet for about three weeks and I lost 8 pounds by the end of it. I'd say the results here are realistic. I did not exercise during that time and I didn't cheat. I admit it was hard towards the middle. I got tired of eating it. Then I got used to it again, so going back to a regular diet was weird at first. I had to relearn how to plan meals because for almost a month I always know what was for lunch and dinner.

  • not to mention since its short term, ur body will gain back the 1-2 legitament lbs u may have lost within a few days of going back to a normal diet.

  • u did not lose 4 lbs in 3 days. U would be very sick. In fact, it is only healthy to lose 1 lbs a week. 2 lbs is even frowned upon. You do not lose 14 lbs a week. That is 2 lbs a day. 3500 calories in a lbs, avg intake for females is recommended 2000 calories a day. to lose 2 lbs a day, u would have to expend 7000 calories, PLUS the 2000 calories u intake (it is probably be the same while on diet)..

    accurate weight weighing takes 3 days to find. weight varies 1-8 lbs a day.

    I can go on.

  • I started this diet today and I must say I LOVE the soup. It tastes great. When I was making it I over did the chayenne pepper powder and it's really spicy but I love spicy food. The best part of all is this soup fills you UP like crazy. I eat two bowls and I feel like I just ate a HUGE meal. And I used to eat like a fucken horse If it can fill me up it can fill anyone up. I can't wait till day 4, the milk with bananas sounds absolutely delicious! I'll report in 7 days the results!

  • How can you possibly say this soup isn't delicious. I love it. This could be my favorite soup. I don't know what you did to it, but if you make it right, it's fantastic.

    Try potatoes, cabbage, celery, carrots, onions, garlic, and tomato juice. Put it all in Presto Pot, or Soup pot and cook until the potatoes are tender. Fabulous!

  • ok so on day 1, yours looks different but there are so many variations i hope i made mine the right way...i added fat free sodium free chicken broth, and a lipton chicken noodle packet along with all the veggies. What did you do on bannana day? I didnt eat any fruit today.

  • I did this diet and lost 5 lbs in one week, but what I discovered is that it jump started my metabolism and that after I got off the diet I still lost weight. Tip for banana and milk day. Freeze the bananas and blend them with milk to make milkshakes, they are awesome!

  • dont make the soup with a soup mix... soup mixes have glucose, processing chemicals and the dreaded MSG... this will not help your health at all.

    Cabbage is wonderful... for all the people who are saying that the soup tastes horrible are just going through withdrawel from unessassary things like salt, sugar, etc.

    perhaps its good for you to purge your body of all that crap that you have been stuffing in your gut for however many years.

    Try working out to relieve stress and rid the headaches

    i didn't suffer headache, but i cried when i eat that soup at the first day lol

    now I'm a bit fine with the soup.

  • I love this diet. My soup is delicious, but make it in a stock pot on the stove. On this diet, I am not hungry at all, I feel great, and I have no cravings. I lose at least a pound a day.

    Yes, you can have caffeine. You can have unlimited black coffee and tea.

    I eat tons of the soup, like 3 cups of soup, 3 to 4 times a day. I add a tablespoon full of Splenda to each bowl of soup, which makes it taste like Cambells Tomato Soup or Spaghetti-Os.

  • Part III do NOT cook in a crock pot as the young lady did in this post. It kills the cabbage and that is why the soup is mushy and disgusting. Crunchy is best simmer about 10 mins. Then bag it in Ziploc bags-refrigerate!

  • Part II 3. Drink a cup of coffee/espresso with soymilk. Make sure you are on a path of eating healthier in the first place. I begin this diet after I have been using the gabriel method for a few weeks ( Basically a salad with flax oil with all meals) eating a few salads with your food daily prepares your palette to eat cleaner foods like this cabbage soup.

    It also helps to kind of like cabbage, IF you dont however the curry wiil help that.

    Tylenol on 2nd day -Headache.

    TheraFlu on 3rd day -sick.

    Little bit of spicy Trial Mix for the first 4 days.

    Fish and veggies on 5th day.

    Did not follow menu plan for 6th and 7th days.

    3 bowls of Cabbage soup and 7 cups of water ( with lemon juice and Cayenne pepper ) everyday.

    Today is the 8th day morning. Overall weight loss is 8 lbs. Need to keep it off. I listen to your video for motivation. Thank you again for sharing

  • You eat fruits and veggies but no potato and no bannanas.

    Of course it gets a little boring to eat the same soup everyday, but it's good if you have a hectic schedule because all the food is prepped and you save money ^^

  • I highly recommend this detox! It's a perfect recipe to get a jump start on eating healthier. The only advice I have is add spices! That way it won't be too boring.

    I have kept my weight off however gained one or two pounds back =D (which you should anticipate because you're mostly losing water weight to begin with) but remember I am only keeping it off because I changed my diet.

    That hardest days for me were the milk & banana, and the last couple days of the detox.
