Oh, I loved the part where you had to swim to Besaid Village.

And later you had to walk on the road to get to the port... well, thankfully, there weren't that many fiends, so this masterpiece got to play rather uninterrupted.

This whole theme is on strong contrast with the beginning minutes of the game, and that time spent in the agonizing ruins of Baaj. Thus, it's such a refreshing and calming theme.

Which is sad if you think about it. A band can recycle the same type of style or heck, rhythms for several albums. But with vgm, a style is repeated for the ambiance of a singular game environment. And with every game it changes to suit the creative and narrative concept of the new environment. That's why I love Uematsu's music. Every game has a different feel to it. And the music reflects that extremely well.

Nobuo Uematsu, Masashi Hamauzu, and Junya Nakano, all did an amazing job composing this beautiful soundtrack with eclectic ideas. :D
