  • this was very interesting... nice, creative work., Excellent use of props

  • @Dustin1961

    Thanks.

  • I couldn't find anything online about Smithsonian's "Dust Bowl" collection. Do you know who does that version of Going Down the Road Feeling Bad?

  • pa never could tinker an engine

  • @alexsuchapimp

He died so quick I couldn't figure out how to get him in here. Wrapped mummy on top of truck?

  • @livelifealwaystoo nah pa never did die. Gran'pa die and we burry him on side of the road with some scripture.

  • @alexsuchapimp

By George, you are right! I got confusd and, after the days it took to make this, its pretty remarkable

  • @livelifealwaystoo preacher man try an' lay down some scripture, but him never was one for readin' no letters none

  • @alexsuchapimp

Preacherman got thinkin’ how we was holy when we was one thing, an’ mankin’ was holy when it was one thing. An’ it on’y got unholy when one mis’able little fella got the bit in his teeth an’ run off his own way, kickin’ an’ draggin’ an’ fightin’. Fella like that bust the holi-ness. But when they’re all workin’ together, not one fella for another fella, but one fella kind of harnessed to the whole shebang—that’s right, that’s holy.

  • where did you get the music? i especially like the last song...

  • @thequesadilla Its all from The Smithsonian "Dust Bowl" collection. Let me see if I can find the song

  • Excellent animation girl..Interesting subject too.. I watched a documentary on the 1930's Dust Bowl weather event that caused so much misery and death. Horrifying act of nature. Taught us the danger of decades of extensive farming without crop rotation and what that could do faced with a major drought.

  • oh i've trained you well fellow jedi ..now your the master hehe...

  • You aren't fooling anyone with the "your"

  • you're right....im off to do some chin ups....hehe....

  • excellent editing! loved this!

  • Hi jr! I was just thinking of you! How are ya?

And thanks, it was a blast to make. The audio and photographs are from The Library of Congress "Voices of the Dust Bowl". Steinbeck was brilliant, everything in his book was covered in the collection. He must have spent days and weeks in the camps.

  • you used excellent material mixed with great editing! really good lifey.

  • FIRST!!!

Hi Ya, LiveLife! Long time no see? Long Time No Watch, that's better. I'm really happy to see you'r still around seeing as you are my Ultimate YouTuber Friend/Buddy/Pal/Mate/Aquaintance... ;)

  • Hi ya Damian! How goes it? It's good to hear from you, I always thought of YOU as the Ultimate Commenter and Firster! Glad you like it, it took about 1 month to shoot and edit, and even longer if you include thought time. Its spring there? I watched part of Australia and finally learned to spell Australia. I had been spelling it Austraila which is how you all say it.

  • You are a national treasure.

  • Thanks. Canada, or US?

  • I was leaving that open for a two-fer.

  • Quasi made me come and watch. so this is his fault. Blooming brilliant wow what a lot of work. 5*

  • Thought you'd like it Kim.

  • Yes, these times got everybody strugglin.

  • is this a rerun? I feel like I may of seen this a few months ago

  • Yes a re-run but my critics (one) have pointed out I deleted the final scene. It involved kinky sex and we wouldn't want any of that now would we.

  • Does this make me an official art critic?

First thing tomorrow I'm heading off to my local gallery with watergun filled with paint.

    Pre Raphaelites? pfft

  • lol I always liked the pre-Raphaelites, its the post modernism from the 80s and 90s that suck. Anything after pop art.

  • My local gallery has the biggest collection of Pre Raphaelite art in the world. It is one of my regular haunts.

As far as art goes I enjoy pretty much anything bar this "Cut a pig in half" rubbish. Also an unmade bed with curry on the floor is not art Ms Tracy Emin.

  • I see you left out the breastfeeding too?

Should add a "hmm boob nom nom nom" annotation at the end ^^

  • I guess it's American prudishness in my case. Why the babyTroll didn't include it I have no idea.

  • Strange isn't it?

    Also, lol at "American prudishness".

  • Why, did I misspell it?

  • I've never really considered the Americans to be "Prudish" really.

You spend more on porn in a year than the entire national debt of Sub Saharan Africa.

  • That was the whole thing about Clinton, we heard Europe was puzzled- why we were so into porn but shocked at a powerful man diddling a clerk.

  • Hi livelife!

  • ^

    l

    Left hanging.

  • No no, just a little late altho if you had been falling from a window or something that wouldnt help you much

  • Well it just so happens...

  • lol 5'd, faved and featured.

Better than the video I just had featured.

At least YOU can spell literature.

  • HAHAHAHhahahahhahahah
