I've lived in the South and then in Vancouver since the 70s, and I want to live again where there are actually four seasons every year. And where I can still speak Deitsch once in a while. Ask somebody what it means.
I heard that the Old Order Mennonites have been moving out of the area for the past 20 years or so for sparser populated areas. Where are they going? And I heard Eastern Europeans are coming in and buying the farms being sold. Is that accurate?
Still get that bad air coming up from Chicago? I'd like to retire in the countryside around K-W in a few years.
