I did love the Tarja years, but when people act like "she was Nightwish" I have to chuckle because that is when she starts being way overrated. Nightwish was never one person, but if you must pick one as being the most vital component, it would be Toumas. I always found the music itself to be the most brilliant aspect of the band and that guy is one hell of a composer. There are GREAT singers with a "lower" or "weaker" voice, it's a matter of voice technique, operatic soprano is, by definition, strongger than Anette's head voice, so yes, it's natural that it sounds more "powerful", but that doesn't mean it's better or worse. The two singers have different techniques. Knowing how to play "a bit" of piano and guitar doesn't make you a professional in music. Just sayin'. Takes years to fully understand it.
