  • Mhmmm I'm mostly a fan of the Gurodo. Think about it... in all the video games I have played I have never ever seen such a strong and independant woman society on any game. That and it only makes sense that women follow Ganon instead of men. Women are true to their hearts desires aswell as their beliefs and they tend to be stuborn and fiesty. Meh.... wish they'd bring them back. I was so disappointed in Twilight Princess for that one reason.

  • @GanonLives I see you Like Ganondorf well check out my Video ;D

    (i just have two ) ^^

  • Gerudos are one of my most favorite races of the zelda universe, it's fascinating to just imagine such a race in real life; All female race in which a male is born every 100 years. Spiritual strong women who seem to be sexy as hell. Seducing men just to get pregnant. Scimitar masters dwelling the desserts. Masters of horse back archery. Belly dancing bodies, tanned skin, bright yellow eyes and red hair; can you get sexier than that!? I often imagine them as amazonian in the desert.

  • @Ernireg3 Yeah, I know they look ugly as hell in the N64 but I imagine them looking greatly attractive if they really seduce the men from castle town

  • Please, what the song's name??

  • @DaftPunkeisteam well, this guy in castle market town, and this gossip stone say that the gerudo women sometimes go into market town looking for boyfriends. you are correct about them being sexist, and hating men. Although the game says they look for "boy friends" i think a more accurate description would be "one night stand" X3

  • @DaftPunkeisteam actually, a male is born one every hundred years. they can have babies any time, but it'll usually be a girl ^^'

  • is the better video i see you have all stars

  • @hectorhiram65 jeje

  • Ooh, where did you get the pic at the end? I want it!

  • Yes I did think I could since the guards failed to see me

  • but muslims say that woman are not respected as men, but the woman of geurodes seduced men and used them for their own will, i will say they are Amazones. Amozones is where the Girls(womans) are in lead and they do the heavy work and the men cook and being used for sperm..

  • If I'm not mistaken the female statue is supposed to be the Sand Goddess that the Gerudo worship.

  • ok a few problems withthe very beginning

    1. in OoT they do not think of Ganondork as a hero

    2. in MM there is no Ganondork

    3. in Tp and all other games there are no gerudos

  • why there are no gerudos anymore in the new games? just why? they were so great :o

  • u dont even have the 15 secret hearts

  • Ganondorf is one lucky guy!

  • I know I'm not the only one that thought Nabooru was kind of hot. :)

  • @Deined

ya my friend does to when i told him about the whole nabooru giving link a "favor" which was obviously something sexual since she said "if only i would have known you would have grown into such a handsom man then i would have kept that promise" my friend said he was jealouse.

  • no ganon gets killed crushed and downcutted! :)

  • All HAil to ganondorf

  • this is very amazing... to my heart.

  • Waited 4 years to play Twilight princess and there arw no Gerudos.

    Gutted..... :(

  • hi i love Gerudo Race is my favorite Race :)

  • I have some questions for you guys. Someone can tell me:

    1) How did Ganondorf get the power of the Triforce?

    2) If Naburoo is a thief, how he came to be a sage of spirit?

    3) Why are only women in Gerudo Valley?

And other questions only in Spanish ... If someone wants to work with a project about this great masterpiece, and want to find out conlcusiones of the above questions, please contact me

It's a good music background that have 5*s

  • Those questions are answered in Ocarina of Time.

    1) read the plot summary on wikipedia for details.

    2) Because Naburoo wanted to protect her homeland so she became the "guardian".

    3) every 100 years a male gerudo is born as their king. all gerudos life much longer than other humans.

  • Where can I get this song and the picture of all of them at the end?

  • The song is from Yannai on his Tribute album first song. and I will look around and see if I still have this picture. It was a crude photoshop job. Drop me your e-mail and I will send it if I find it.

  • gerudos are arab muslims

  • Hmm well I think the look maybe that of some old Ali Babba and 40 thieves gear however what do you think about when you hear the music at the Gerudo Hideout? Seems more spanish feeling to me. But they are warriors and can adapt to anything I think.

  • More specifically, gerudos are moor muslims. The moors conquered spain, so spanish influence rubbed off on them, the gerudo culture closely resembles al andulus under the authority of the arab moor muslims.

  • @GerudoUK hahaha well it seems you have put a lot of thought into your theory rookie about the Gerudo. I know that Nintendo intentionally added this type of likeness in several of the charactors. But I don't think they put as much thought into it as you did but it is an intresting read. Lets not forget though this is a game and these are video game characters. haha but my favorite of all time.

  • @GanonLives hahhahahahahaha , such a n00blet :P you comment so rushed on to where or how gerudo hide and hyrulean soldiers, "resourceful creatures" lol XD you take it so serious..and yet, you comment on others "this is just a game" ... hyprocritical bs mate :P thats what you are :) ... youre full of it ... and yes.. :) in fact nintendo does takes it seriously enough to actually have made the gerudo alike to moors , music, makeup , gipsy alike culture and their embiroment.. so STFU

  • mm I'd agree, if it werent for the female domination and the red hair.

  • i was disappointed playin twilight princess.

i was expectin to fight some upgraded gerudos and all i fought was boney midgets. the desert sucked on twilight princess, except for the fight with the ogre.

  • Oh I echo your sentaments about TP. It was a good play but I was expecting a glemps of Gerudo and perhaps we have seen a small one however I want to see a more stronger role in the next Zelda game. Lets keep our fingers and toes crossed.

  • Any Spirit Tracks remixes? By the way are there Gerudo in Spirit tracks?

  • No not yet. I haven't had time to finish it but will take a listen to all of them when I am done.

  • seriously why don't you L-target?

  • Not all video is actually my game play and that of my nephew who is 12. I am the type of person who would play this entire game in heavy boots just for a challenge. Haha that is what otaku do.

  • It was just something I noticed in some of the fights. I was like "L-TARGET! What are you doing!?"

    :P

I'm going to assume you have completed Master Quest?

  • hahaha I just noticed that myself after i replyed. Yes I have finished Masters Quest and surprised how easy the water temple was.

  • That statue is the goddess of the sand.

  • It would have been nice if Nintendo dove into a little bit more about the gerudo and the statue. It does not look anything like a gerudo but.... well I don't know how to explain it in words but looks like a combination of Gerudo and Link.and well Fierce Deity! What do you guys/girls think. It is just my opinion of course.

  • I've been fascinated by the Gerudo for years. I speculate the Goddess of the Sand is actually how they envision Din.

  • Ahhh I never looked at it that way. It is great to hear these type of thoughts. Why do you think it is a representation of Goddess Din? I would love to see the three goddesses in Wii Zelda. After seeing Midnas second form i think they could do a great job of doing Gerudo, Twinrova and the three goddesses. More theries please everyone I love reading them!

  • Well think about it, if you look at the close relation Ganon has to Din, in possession of the Triforce of Power - One must wonder, why is it exactly the Gerudo worship the male as a God? Is it because he is the closest to their beloved Goddess and they possess the Triforce of Power?

  • Well said and great observasion! I could see how the statue would be tied into Din. But you know Ganondorf is a great sorcerer even before he had the triforce of power and I bet he and Twinrova (Kotake & Koume, his serogate mother) had a lot to do with brainwashing the Gerudo in believing he should be their leader. Din is also my favorite out of the 3 so I hope you are right about the statue hahaha. Don't get me started I can go on forever about this hahaha.

  • That is all noted of course, but if you consider why his serogate mother went through the trouble of instilling such power into the man, you have to wonder their motivation.

  • Hmmm and how exackly did Ganondorg get the triforce of power. Leaves a lot for speculation and falsafied storry telling by a young princess with a huge imagination (hehe) I am trying to corrupt the story haha

  • Brainwashed? I'm pretty sure the Gerudo guard you're fighting in the game said that one male is born every 100 years, and that he must be king according by their law. They did brainwash Nabooru though, since she was a traitor.

  • Actually I think you are both right. Nabooru and the fighting guard (I guess we can call her Avel like MM gerudo) also mentioned about 100 years. The Hylian gards also mention it but I think somehow The sorcerous sisters had a lot to do with it. Long live the Gerudo!!

  • Well said Sourcerous.

  • Remember on Majora's Mask, when Tatl cries out to a "Goddess of Time" in desperation when the world is about to be destroyed?

Some think that what people refer to as the goddess of time is actually Naryu (established law and what not to govern land, time could be included). So it'd make since that the Gerudo weren't referring to another goddess; rather how they view a particular goddess.

It's nice to see all the Gerudo fans out here. I've been speculating about them for a long time. :D

  • You are right. And I believe we will see these characters in the next Zelda for the Wii. Seeing the three goddesses would be wonderful! As well as the Gerudo. I think the does represent the goddess but hmmm GanonLives you are right looks like Feirce Deity a little and Link a little wow I never noticed that. You guys are good!!

  • Maybe you should pay a visit to zeldawiki.

Everything you need to know is there.

As for the brainwashing, I'm sticking with that the majority of the gerudo are just following orders.

So I'm keeping them just as rough and violent in the movie.

  • Well, I'm not sure about seeing them in the Wii game. In both timelines after OoT, there are no Gerudo (and no, none in ST). I think it's because, with their only pure Gerudo male sealed away, they were faced with a choice. Remain isolated and die out (since they couldn't have babies), or merge into Hylian society, eventually getting rid of all pure Gerudo. Thus, you have no Gerudo in TP or WW (the two timelines).

But they said that Zelda Wii is "in a whole new era"... So, we'll see. :D

  • Sealed away or perhaps in hiding. They are resourceful creatures and dispite finding a Hylian soldier, I am sure they would be able to find another victom, whoops I mean another man to frolic with hahaha. Just like the praying mantus my friends... think about it.

  • @Togeshroob A Gossip stone said that Gerudo women go to Hyrule town to look for boyfriends.

  • @HBroth But those boyfriends aren't Gerudos. Thus, the babies they make wouldn't be pure Gerudo. These half-breeds would mate with other people, making the Gerudo blood run even thinner.

The way to preserve the race would be for a pure male Gerudo to mate with them. Though, I remembered in FSA, there are Gerudo, and that's most likely after OoT... Maybe they had a male baby hidden secretly, just in case something happened to Ganon? But a male is only born every 100 years... Oh, who knows :/

  • @Togeshroob That's why the Hylians survived while the Gerudo have a very short existence. They ended out getting extinct and/or breeding inside the Hylian society for too long. Still, the reason I think that they said that a male Gerudo was born every 100 is because the female Gerudo gene is much stronger and any male babies resemble more their Hylian fathers, therefore not considered Gerudo. So Ganondorf is supposedly the sole Gerudo man who inherited the Gerudo genes, making him king.

  • @groar86 Good lord, that was an all-mighty nerdy comment!

  • @Togeshroob It's mostly pointless to try to come to a conclusion about how the "only one male in 100 years" idea could be true, since we know nothing about Hylian biology. It could be that they live very long and stay fertile their whole lives and make biracial kids. They may be able to do parthenogenesis, like the Cnemidophorus neomexicanus species of whiptail lizard. Maybe only Gerudo genotypes can be expressed in offspring and sex determination is not done with chromosomes.

  • @chaowalker

Ahaha, well you are certainly right there... None of that ever even crossed my mind; all very good points though. So yep, I'll just give up on puzzling that one out, unless more info/lore is given later (as in, from the hopeful Gerudo appearance in Skyward Sword).

By the way, I've always preferred 'Hylain' myself, though I've seen it both ways in various games. I'm not sure which is correct; Hylian may be for the race whereas Hyrulean may refer to the country. I dunno :s

  • @Togeshroob :D Thank you, very much! (I'm still used to mean comments at the moment, so yours is refreshing.) I think Nintendo is pretty sly with cultural allusions, but they don't create much in the way of Sci-fi, so I highly doubt more info will be in later installments.

I've researched this before and a "Hylian" is the elf-like race that Link and Zelda are in OoT and a "Hyrulean" is anyone who is native to Hyrule (Link, Ruto, Biggoron, etc.). I agree that Hylian has a catchier sound, though.

  • @chaowalker Haha, yeah, sometimes it seems like all you get on youtube is people with cutting comments :\

And you're probably right about there likely not being more info given about it later. I mean, there are several other things in LoZ that don't make much sense, so it's not like it's entirely out of place, anyway.

And thank you, the Hylain/Hyrulean thing makes good sense now. I was thinking they were just interchangable terms.

  • @Togeshroob Speaking of things not making sense, how about the gauntlets letting Link lift heavy objects that make him bend his back backwards, but his spine, legs and everything else being fine?!

    Ah, you're very welcome!

I saw you talking about Sheikah to Darken and second it! I want some more info on them because of the backwards way fans claim this and that to be of Sheikah origin. They should find the common denominator of the symbol first, which seems to be shadows, or clandestine things.

  • @Togeshroob u would use hyrulean in the case of an object or item but when you speak of the race its considered hylian wich is why both versions are in some games

  • @Togeshroob (I meant to say "Hyrulean" in that other message, not "Hylian".)

  • @Togeshroob

The next Zelda is said to take place before Ocarina of Time. So we could very well see Gerudos in Skyward Sword. And I think that's just awesome.

  • @darken27

Heeey, long time no see! We discussed timelines long ago on some Wind Waker music. But I completely agree; Gerudos in SS would be just awesome. Also, we might get to see other missing races, like the Kokiri (as humanoids I mean, Koroks don't count).

Personally, I'm most looking forward to hopefully seeing the Sheikah. In OoT, most had died off from the civil war before, but SS is likely before the civil war...

  • @Togeshroob

    Oh yeah, that's right.

I don't see much reason for them not to have those races, really. Unless, of course, SS takes place even before those races became unified.

I have a feeling that it could take place sometime near, or during the Great War, explained in OoT's backstory. It would make sense, since Link has to travel from Skyloft to Hyrule to combat a rising evil. Of course, that evil could be literally anything, so that's just speculation on my part.

  • @darken27 SS during the civil war is something I've been thinking about too. It would be breaking tradition though; with every big console release (except MM, which was more of a side story), there's been hundreds of years between them. 10-12 years before OoT, as the civil war was at its end, would be a surprise.

Still, that doesn't necessarily mean they won't do it. I think it'd make for a really interesting game world if they did. But yep, it's pretty much all speculation at this point.

  • Wouldn't it have been great is that statue somehow came to life and raised the temple in TP? Hmmmm

  • Gerudo Are Effn' Awesome

    Nuff Said ^.^

  • A lot of the creatures and Hylians and such do tend to have those features. I have often wondered how tall are the Hylians and Gerudo.

  • woah thats creepy 0:34 moon and sun r both up!

    sweet vid tho

  • Haha yes I believe the second or third day in Majoras Mask that is why.

  • I heard that the statue is supposed to be the goddess of the sand that the gerudo worship

  • Love the song. :D Where i could download it?

  • The Gerudo woman go to Hyrule to have thier children. I read about it somewhere, i canny remember where though. Hope that helps cool594 and, I LOVE THIS VID =)

  • Hahaha well something like that yes. The guards speak of it in OOT

  • hey how do you record this video what program do you use?

  • Oh I have a stand alone dvd recorder and I use microsoft's watered down Windows Movie Maker program to edit the video after I pulled it off of the DVD. Hope that helps.

  • I love this tribute, and the music suits the Gerudo tribe very well. The Gerudo are by far the coolest tribe in the series. I am definetly more a fan of the Gerudo and Ganondorf than Link and Zelda. It's too bad they haven't been playing a big role in the recent Zelda series. Anyways, thansk for posting this! Long live King Ganondorf! ^_^

  • Well lets hope the last Wii Zelda about the Spirit Sword thing will feature a gerudo or two other then Ganondorf.

  • OMG! Its Deliverence by Yanni! :D I love this song!

  • Yes amazing how the music seems to flow with the feel of this particular type of gerudo

  • imiss this game

  • I've heard somewhere that it was hinted that Malon was a Gerudo child. Evidence was that a) she was a girl, b) she had flaming red hair, and c) Talon wistfully talked about her mom being from a "faraway place," or something

  • how do they have babies?

  • @cool594

    ask your parents

  • @cool594 O_O umm...well you see,it's like the birds and the bees,but without the bees,get it?

    (COUGHGAGCOUGH XC )

  • @TheGamekid96 So, they use the ZW chromosome sex-determination system? Ah... I got it, now! XP

  • @cool594 Actually they just gangbang every guy who comes by :D

  • @cool594 in oot, this guy in market town and this gossip stone say that sometimes the gerudo come into hyrule market town looking for boy friends

  • @cool594 They take Male mates. I believe they can reproduce with many male humanoids, however they can only give birth to gerudos.

  • @cool594 They all have babies with Gannondorf since he's the only male Gerudo. He must be tired

  • @cool594 They get boyfriends in Hyrule square. One of the gossip stones tell you. XD

  • @cool594 Ganon' their man and dad XD

  • im kinda impressed by gerudos strength they can take link hostage

    good job dude

  • Gerudos are also my favorite race. I was so disappointed when they didn't appear in Twilight Princess.

  • TECHNICALLY ganon, but yeah XP

  • ACTUALLY! There is a new Zelda game for the Wii coming out, they might actually feature the gerudos.

  • A race? I thought they where more along the lines of just a bunch of girls in the desert

  • No they're seperate from Hylians, with their round ears rather than pointy. Plus a Gerudo's child will always be a girl (with the exception of a male every 100 years)

  • @Slaushster you'd think they'd have more kids then that when they go wit all the hylian men xD

  • Me too V.V

  • @Slaushster actually. technically gannondorf is a gerudo. so they did appear in twilight princess.

  • this was cool! really long, but somehow getting a glimpse of orcarina of time and majora mask clips clips (im not that far yet in either game lol.. especially m.m. just started it....) and the cool music, it entertained me. :3 good job!! :D

  • Yes I contenplated revealing this because I know there are still people who have not played these games all the way through even after all this time so forgive me for the spoilers. Thanks for the complaments. Actually it was going to be much longer then this and I had to cut it down to fit the song.

  • thats ok, i dont mind, I know now i have alot of cool things to look forward to! (im sorta close in OoT i think... im on the shadow temple lol)

    And ur welcome! :)

  • Terror... umm whatever your name is I deleted your message only because of your languange. Please repost your comments if you wish my friend without all the nasty languange.

  • I wonder who feels more sexually attracted by the Gerudos, the underage Link or the adult Link? lol

  • Not sure if I understand that question but as you know in Ocarina of time and Majoras mask. The ladies were quite fond of Link.

  • But if they are quite fond of an underage boy, then the ladies are strange.

  • hahaha well I don't think they are fond of him in they way you are hinting too but hay, everyone sees zelda games in their own way. haha your way my friend, quite honestly is scaring me hahahaha jk

  • Did you make the picture at the end?

  • Yes using Adobe. If you want it let me know and I can e-mail it to you. I think I still have it somewhere but please note my adobe skills are not so good.

  • That would be cool if you could email it to me. ^_^

  • Easy, easy....... watch the languange. I agree on the asskicking but sex slaves? nahhh

  • senbonzakura55:

Sorry I accidently deleted your message. officially there was only one Gerodu in TP and that was Ganondorf. However rumor has it that the bar made was also a gerudo but not officially stated by nintendo. Look at my picture in my profile

  • you realy like the gerudo don't you well so do i they are awesome

but if you realy like the gerudo then you should check out MonkeyDRuffy she was the one who made my realy apriciate the gerudo

  • Yes I have seen before. I am also doing remixes and some original music coming soon.

  • Man, the Gerudos are just kickass. I wish i could be a Gerudo in the Game lol

  • Dude, this is fuckin' awesome!

    What's the music?

  • It makes me want to write a Ganon story!

  • me too :)

  • That was always my favorite temple. very cool.

  • Y'know what would be a good idea for a game?

A Zelda-esque game but with ganondorf before he was a bad-guy being the main character!

    Sound like an idea?

  • You know I have thought of that myself and am in the process of working on something like it. Stay tuned.

  • As someone i once met online would probably say, "Long Live GanonDork!"

I only call him that when i'm fighting him.

  • hahaha it's ok I think we have all called himi many names over the years of game play.

  • Lol.

  • Where can I get the song?

  • what is this song!!!!!

  • What mask was that that u were wearing?

  • it's the stone mask dude. with it almost no one can see you.

  • does anybody know the name of the song?

  • Yanni Tribute CD and the song is called Deliverance

  • thanks!

  • I KNEW the song sounded familiar.....

Despite all the crap he gets (fromwhat I can tell is precisely no reason whatever), Yanni has produced some pretty good stuff o'er the years.

  • Lol at 2:52 that girl cut link's skin LOL nice vid man 5 stars

  • Thank you my friend.

  • good song!

  • awesome

  • i habe the music theme of BLOOD OF GANON

  • Nice video

  • cool dude this music really fits for the geroudos whatever you call them lols...

  • Sorcerous, the other video is coming along with music I remixed. Sorry for the delay.

  • Thanks the same!;)

I post you my Brawl Code as a personal message cause I think were not really supposed to have a conversation on anothers video. ^_^

  • ^_^ oopsie i couldn't help myself but talk to you haha and awesome. maybe we can be on a team together :]

  • Lol, no prob!;)

Fighting in teams sounds pretty cool! :)

  • nice choice of music

  • gerudo valley had to be like my favorite area in The legend of zelda series

  • Well G-Dorf is gettin some, if u know what i mean. He's the only male gerudo.

  • every hundred years there's a new male gerudo...

    wonder what that's like

  • I love the Gerudos but I don't know about Ganondorf... He hasn't given me a reason to respect him, you could say I'm on Naboroo's side so-to-speak, long live the Gerudo!!! o^O^o

    XXXSilv

  • this is probably the coolest gerudo theme ever you should make it downloadable

  • Love the Gerudos, my favorite race in Zelda beside Hylians now.

Nabooru is my favorite Gerudo of all time.

Sure, she was against Ganondorf and all. But I think that´s his own fault. He stole from both women and children. And then he messed up Hyrule and tried to kill poor Zelda and Link. Ganondorf is indeed very evil. But don´t get me wrong, he really is a badass villian and the best one. He will allways be the best villian in Zelda.

  • (Continution)

Oot and TP are the best Zelda games in my oponions, Ganondorf was really baddass in both of them. And in TP he even kinda scares me. I´m thinking of the cutscene with the sages*shudders* LOL!XD

I´m really interested in If the Gerudos have their own language. I´ve allways imagined them to speak Ukraine and that they are tough, strong and wild etc. Maybe thanks to Ruslana. I think her music fits the Gerudos very much personately!^^

    Gerudos rock!XD

  • Zpdkpgirl well said. I think that if Nintendo wanted to, they could really play into the Gerudo role much more and people would enjoy it. They are true fighting machines so hopefully in the future we will see more of them and not just as a voluptuous woman or an fortune teller (ooops did I say that) haha. And sourcerous twinrova, soon I will post a video of it. Thank you

  • No big!^^

Really like the Gerudos myself and hope for a much bigger role for them in the future. I also hope for voice acting in the Zelda series future. It would also be very interesting to hear the Gerudos speak like said.^^

  • Voice acting hmmm very intresting that you said that. Some people have said that they fear it would ruion a game to hear the characters voices but I don't think it would. I think Nintendo could get away with voice and real orchastrated music and not midi. But the Wii has limited memory so that is part of the problem there. My Gerudo friends would welcome both.

  • I think that voice acting would be a great addition to the series. And I know for sure that If it´s Nintendo working on it, it will hardly rurn out bad.

  • your my hero i absolutely love you. :] so smart you are

  • Thanks so much!^_^:D

  • :] your very welcome. I love legend of zelda games beat everyone one, what about you?

  • I also love legend of Zelda. I´ve beaten all the 3D games. My fav games of all time is Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess. They´re the ones that rock hard for me!XD
