Hi, when it will be available on Namm2012 will it than be available in the hexaphonic version without pickup too? ( i have an axon SB100 and Carvin NS1 )
Wow, that sounds like it's even outrunning the new Roland GR-55. Great job! It seems like MIDI guitar technology is starting to move ahead (finally). Please hurry and bring this out. This seems like a really simple solution for guitar players. I'm sure there is quite a market out there for this , as long as it remains reasonably affordable. Looking forward to seeing more demos showing how it tracks chords and fingerpicking.
I mean you can play more than 1 string at a time..... Would be nice to see you slow the playing down a bit. Maybe play some chords etc. Oh and HOW MUCH :) ?
@Equestional : Yes, this is my new design, following the Shadow GTM-6 and SH-075 (25 years ago) and the AXON (16 years ago). Still a prototype, but coming soon.
@szalayandras1953 Aha!:D ...well it is super cool and awesome, seems to be tracking very well despite the lighting fast shredding! (axon is in the tags...) I would personally love wireless midi on my guitar and a built in system...
@jjuup: Just to make it clear, it is not a "built in system" in the sense that there is nothing built into the guitar. The whole device is in the small gray box, which is like a GK-2 box, but much smaller.
@jjuup: Yes. The whole MIDI converter is on the guitar, and MIDI is transmitted wireless. The normal audio signal of the guitar is connected with a jack cable.
@szalayandras1953 Ah, I see. It's so small that it looked like just a panel! Congratulations of getting it to be so small, wireless and all! Well anyways, this is exciting news and I hope we see it on the market soon, as the Axon I'm using is bulky and the cable is a hassle. Tracking seems to be quite on spot.
Very impressive!! I'm interested!

Is it pitch to Midi or something else? Any idea of time to market?
MarkLown 10 months ago
@MarkLown : Yes, it is pitch to MIDI like the Axon or the Roland GI-20. Product release is expected at the next NAMM in Anaheim (Jan. 2012)

@jjuup: This has nothing to do with the AXON, this is a completely new design. It is not yet available.
