In the Power episode of Season 8 they tried to explain it by "Lex forced Lana to break up with Clark via video". But hey only made things worse. Just think about it. Lana escaped, then spent months never bothering to return to Clark or even call him and tell the truth because she was too busy plotting revenge against Lex.
I agree wherever what happens I will remember Clark and Lana relationship and they loved each other and I respect Lana because she realized that Clark needs to follow his destiny and she didn't want in the way and I know clark loves very much when because when Brainic attacked her Clark visited her and stayed with her whenever he had a free time and didn't want to live her alone.

Last night's episode was pretty good. But it really does feel like something is missing. The Kents, Pete, Lionel, and Lex have been huge losses to the show. But Clark and Lana were the main storyline of the show and there's a huge void now. But this should be the final season because it's really starting to look more and more like Superman.
We have to face the sad reality of which wool lana and clark will not be able to be T_T but it is very difficult because I remember these beautiful moments of all the seasons and though it was made dense ultimately me, but it is impossible to hate them ... they really were loved and it is horrible to give an end separated

Smallville is really about Clark growing up and his relationships with Lex, Chloe, and of course Lana. I have nothing against the whole Lois story (in the future) but it just doesn't seem to have a place in Smallville. I hope Season 8 will be action-packed, where Clark truly develops into his powers more(i.e. flying). I'll miss the Clark and Lana relationship, though.

You are right, DC and Warner do own the series, but it is a corporate decision for the marriage, not based on good storytelling. Superman and Lois are the 21st century example of the "arranged marriage." A marraige based on needs, but not true love.
It is not a prequel, but the beginning of Clark's heroic journey. Every hero has a starting point and successful ones find a way to return to that point. Please only speak for yourself. I've been reading Superman for 50 years and the story was never better than the instances where even the adult clark was dating Lana. For the record, there are probably jsut as many angry fans as there are happy fans over the marriage. The comic, because of the marriage, has really reached a dead end.

ok, so i havent watched or commented on this vid in a little while! The reason I choose right now to come back is because last night I had a dream something bad happened to Lana, ha like most season finale's so i needed reassurance that she was fine this season!! Lana is Clark soul mate. He will always love her no matter what. Their love for each other is self-sacrificing and they always overcame all the challenges put in their way.
Clark has been in love with Lana since he was 7-8 years old and Lana loves Clark so deeply & will sacrifice her own life for him. She has never ever loved anyone else like she loves Clark.

Smallville is really about Clark growing up and his relationships with Lex, Chloe, and of course Lana. I have nothing against the whole Lois story (in the future) but it just doesn't seem to have a place in Smallville. I hope Season 8 will be action-packed, where Clark truly develops into his powers more(i.e. flying). I'll miss the Clark and Lana relationship, though.

This is a heart breaking scene. It's hard for both Lana and Clark to forget and let go of each, but they belong together no matter the circumstances because to tell you the truth they show the greatest love story ever told or ever seen. Clana forever!!!

As far as I know DC comic is not allowing any relationship between Lois and Clark on SV. If Smallville Producers don't close the last chapter with Clana, it means that they've fooled US for 7 years.

Yes, but what has he truely learned. That we can't live without him (the Chloe/Lois theory). If so, then he isn't a true hero. Heroic literature is meant to inspire emulation, not adoration. Antying less, destroys the hero.

So official that every writer who has had a say about it has tried to end the marriage, or rewrite the mythos so he winds up with Lana. You are right, DC and Warner do own the series, but it is a corporate decision for the marriage, not based on good storytelling. Superman and Lois are the 21st century example of the "arranged marriage." A marraige based on needs, but not true love.

It is not a prequel, but the beginning of Clark's heroic journey. Every hero has a starting point and successful ones find a way to return to that point. Please only speak for yourself. I've been reading Superman for 50 years and the story was never better than the instances where even the adult clark was dating Lana. For the record, there are probably jsut as many angry fans as there are happy fans over the marriage. The comic, because of the marriage, has really reached a dead end.

Obviously, you don't know anything about heroic literature, or you would understand that every heroic story is a love story at it's essence and is about the sacrifice of that love to begin journey. As for Superman being the world's greatest hero, he is more the world's greatest icon. Your thinking is based on an "outmoded understanding of the universe that we will be delivered...by forces from another planet" (Joseph Campbell) Smallville moved Supermnan into the realm of the heroic.

By far the most heartbreaking moment in the entire smallville series!! TW & KK are both incredible even without being in the same room...Even if these two are not meant to be together, there's no way to deny the quality of their love: pure, innocent, strong, unconditional, self sacrificing and forever!
