:D u know that u r deleting the application which lets you communicate to the internet? XD thats so stupid. If someone thinks svchost.exe would be a virus just check it out with the process explorer but just delete or kill it would lets XP to show you a failure / bluescreen / what ever and lets you looking silly @ youtube :P

ARE YOU INSANE? WHY THE HELL WILL YOU DELETE SVCHOST? look to everyone that's reading this, to know if svchost.exe is a virus

go to processes and right click svchost and select "open file location" if it's anywhere else other than C:/windows/system32 then it is safe to delete.and to end if it cannot be ended then it's a virus you need to scan with an antivirus or get a Mac

@BrandonOwnesU that depends the normal svchost is 7, but dat doesn't mean it cannot be any higher I have 14 on mine and none of them r viruses to just know if one of your svchost is a virus is to go to task manager>processes tab>and then one by one right click them and click open file location

now they only have to be in C:/Windows/system32 if they are in any other folder quickly end process that svchost and delete it's file because it is a virus no doubt but be careful, I would recommend an AV

that doesnt work for me because when i start my computer and after it welcomes the user im on it says that message then i press dont send and nothing happens it jsut stays at the screensaver with no programs,no start menu, no anything plz help!!!!!!!!!!!
