I'm reading the books right now. Apparently Sherlock is a master violinist, so I think it's hilarious that he plays like this. That or he just wants Mycroft to leave. Either way, it's still hilarious. :)

@amirizar2012 i agree with you, again about how NONE of the movies about Sherlock satisfied me. That's probably why Salinger (Author of Catcher in the Rye) never wanted his book to be turned into a movie, the directors tread ALL over it, and ruin it completely. Very few movies can actually satisfy me. Yeah, Sherlock (the show) was a pretty good adaptation. However, again, i will REALLY be disappointed if they end up making Adler Sherlock's love interest =.=

He doesn't love her. And again, i agree with you in that they REALLY should'nt do the same thing =.- i'm REALLY going to be dissapointed in Gatiss, and not to mention the show. I also hope she never comes up after that one time. Yeah, i heard it's coming out May 6th. That's a HUGE amount of time ;A;

In the books, if I remember correctly, his violin playing fluctuated with his mood. He's in a bad mood here; he just kinda...screeches. It's not that he doesn't know how to play, he's just purposely playing badly. Those who read the books get it. ;P

I disagree with John. I don’t think it’s a baffle of children. It seems to be a combat of values between mycroft and sherlock: one which wants to control all, the other which is erased (not even named in the police report at the end of the blind banker), one which wants to be important in the high society, the other which don’t. That’s why they are incompatible.

Yeah, I've read them. and yeah, I know he does play bad on purpose. He plays differently for his moods, right? like, sometimes, when he's in a bad mood the music is truly awful and when he's in a good mood it's fantastic. I don't know, I actually like that sort of sound on violin.

As an actual violinist, I must say that Sherlock has some amazing violin skills. A beautiful composition, really.
