Cons, its my dads car, the backseat are kind of cramped, the engine noise going up the mountains are very annoying because the motor and the engine screams!! sometime we go as slow as the 18 wheelers up the mountains.

It says it's on par with a normal manual gearbox but with quicker shifting. So the fuel efficiency of the SST is still not as good when compared with the CVT.
Drove a Hybrid Civic CVT, was great. Ditto comment on music, we need to hear the motor(s) and road noise to judge what's going on. Also a clear view of the speedo.

CVT is very fuel efficient compared to conventional gearbox transmissions? My family has a Honda City VTEC with CVT :].

Here's my list of transmissions with fuel efficiencies from best to worst.
1. CVT (Continuous Variable Transmission), it's not as powerful as others.
2. Manual Transmission, Twin Clutch SST (Sport/Sportronic Shift Transmission) etc, has the best performance I think.
3. Conventional Automatic Transmission, the performance level is better than the CVT but not as good as Manual or SST.
