I recently used the motorsport mount and gaffa taped them down too - perfect. Never falls off! - there is a full on mount - from Cold Fusion. looking to try that.

Awesome view and effect mate! Bummer about cam...mine landed in footwell and I scooped it up once...don't trust those mounts. They make a little inflatable bag that goes around GoPro, but you still gotta find it! Cable ties for me now!

They sell small camera floats at BestBuy - like a life jacket for your camera. Only $25 and holds up my GoPro with mount no problem.

@Jwilljohnson They sells a float door for the Gopro that uses 3m to stick. I use mine only in high surf (8+ft)

Ughhh... I just lost mine in the ocean today. Had the head mount harness fly out when I landed in the water. First day of use also.... didn't get to review the video.

@tubewatch32 I also have a go pro...why not just attach some sort of floating device on the top with a bright colored ribbon. That way even if you throw it in the ocean it will float and be visible?

Shame about the loss of your GoPro mate. I have mine on the sticky mounts... I dont really pound my ski like you do yours :) but those sticky pads stick like 'sh*t to a blanket!'. I have a sticky pad on my helmet too for POV.

@100blakesam I purchased the HD Motorsport Hero Package and Used the suction cap device that comes in the box. However the next time i took it out in big surf it came off when i busted through a wave and I lost the cam. I did have a safety strap on it, but it was bad material - GET A GOOD SAFETY STRAP!!!! add some gaffer tape!
