Alas, this was made at the beginning of the end... I cringe to think of the uber cheesy, corporate version of clubs that are now "thee place to go to" in NYC now.
So no one here knew the first track... Thats OK I researched this that whole night I posted that comment. The folks on Back to the old school message board knew it and its called "Looove (Quadraphonia Mix)" by the group The Yah Yah's. I bought it as soon as I IDed it on the Discogs market place. I couldn't be happier. In fact I made a Bad Lieutenant tribute mix which starts with the Yah Yah tune followed by the Lords of Acid "Lets get high" and then another 60 minutes of limelight choons.
Does anyone know what version of Quadraphonia "Quadraphonia" this is? Its not the original version and I certainly don't believe its on that record at all. It may be some sort of pre Naughty Naughty Grant Nelson bootleg ? Since Charly Cassanova was the DJ and also a good 'ardkore producer perhaps its his own bootleg that he made himself? Anyone? The second track is Lords of Acid "Lets get High", thats not the one I'm speaking of.

@XtremeDance10 I disagree. A lot of those brands, and most designers at the moment, take inspiration from this very time period. Late 80's/early 90's are all the rage right now in the world of fashion. :)
Couldn't disagree with you more. People, especially women, looked GREAT back then. Look at modern hair "styles". Today everyone looks like they had a fight with a lawn mower. Today's style draws inspiration from all the BAD elements of the mid 1980s
BACK THEN YOU COULD DANCE WITH 10 LADIES ALL NIGHT, ONE EVER TIME A RECORD WOULD CHANGE DOING A LOT OF GRINDING AND NO ONE WOULD NOT SAY..MY GOD HE'S ALL OVER ME OR ...GET OFF ME...THE MUSIC PUT YOU IN THE MOOD AND THE GIRLS BACK THEN WAS ALWAYS HOT.
i remember waiting in line for an hour in 20 degrees for HO 4 @ the limelight back in december of 2001...everyone was paying the hot dog vendor $20 to skip to the front. I came down with a mild case of hypthermia...the extasy wasnt enough to keep us warm so we started a fire and all hurdled around it while in the line....i remeber how odd it was because in order to get the discount rate u had to bring 3 cans of food...and so i brought cans of fruit...finally got in and the party was on
This is not the original version of Quadrophonia "Quadrophonia". This is a much harder remix with breakbeats and other added nuances. I have no clue what this version is but its much better then what I've been used to hearing.
at 41 seconds into the clip, you can hear turntable # 2 mix in with the 2nd track. The continuity of the music stops for a bit when another camera / mic starts filming at 1:05. At 1:20 you can clearly hear the driving beat from turntable #2 mixing nicely with the breakbeats of the first track. By the end of the clip at 1:31, the crossfader is almost entirely on track #2.

@gosia68usa Limelight in NYC, Liquid in Miami and Viper Room in LA were the hottest club during the go go 90's.
Can you imagine a modern version of student 54 in NYC? The craziest club of all time.
