I use extra straps, webbings and turnbuckles from my special collection. Not only are they previously greased, and so easy to use, they have a special scent that many find arousing. The brown stains they can leave might be off-putting, but then again, the occasional corn texture and pudding residues can add a certain graphic element to the procedure, leaving original bits of moist "body art" behind. An added benefit is that all materials are recycled! Nothing says "eco" like lubricious ass-milk
Dr Kenzo Kase is a chiropractor from Japan and the inventor or Kinesio tape.
For those of you who think chiropractic is about low back pain and headaches, Please note that chiropractic is widely accepted as the musculoskeletal specialty. Its basic focus though is neurological effects of spinal joint malfunction.
yea, this doctor obviously seems unknowledgable on how to correctly use kinesio tape. and the different colors have different functions as well, which was not mentioned in this video.
Didn't trim the corners, stretched it at the anchors, and I'd like to quiz him on carpal tunnel anatomy... I'm not suggesting rehab therapists are the only folks who should use KT, just that it'll work much better if he does it properly!
Hmm?Well, first off "Dr." Minors misleads cyberspace here by suggesting that he is a medical doctor(MD)qualified to address/treat his numerous clinical conditions. He and/or the clinic may have purchased some books on Kinesiotape or even paid for CEUs but seriously..in his LONG WINDED list of conditions I heard a possibility of four that he would be qualified to treat. He exhausted numerous peripheral musculoskeletal/soft tissue injuries that do NOT fall into his practice act!Chiro NOT MD or PT!!
i think the title of the video pretty much advertises that he is a chiro.... i'm not sure about the u.s but in australia chiros treat peripheral neuromusculoskeletal conditions and are more qualified than most gp/md's in doing so.... this guy may be tooting his own horn a bit but most of the conditions he listed off fall within the scope of chiropractic practice
Another well known physical therapy treatment. At least he is willing to use evidence-based therapy instead of traditional chiropractic. He is choosing the best treatment for his patients, well done for that. Pity he is trying to pass it off as a chiropractic treatment though. Don't chiros only deal with backs?

Too bad kinesiotape costs about a million dollars a roll. In any given NFL game there is probably about $1,000 worth of tape on all of the athletes.
rigel5847 2 years ago
@rigel5847 my PT sells it for $13 a roll, that is Kinesio Gold tape - the best. A roll lasts me a month of 3x a week rugby practice.

Since when is a DC inferior to an MD? Where would someone get an idea like that. Anything that a PT does is well within the scope of an MD, DO, OR DC.
KT is the bomb!! Thank You Dr Kenzo Kase.
