the movie version was like 20x more epic than this. The angel looked different, it took them longer to kill it, the english voice acting was MUCH better than here, the music was better, and finally when it was killed it didnt explode, it turned into a bunch of blood that flooded the city.
...I just finished watching this scene from Rebuild. Now, coming to see this one, I can't believe I ever thought it was good! It's like going back and watching 1960's Star Trek episodes; it's LAUGHABLY cheap and cheesy by comparison.
HAHAAHA OMG this scene is PATHETIC COMPARED TO THE REMAKE. The angel pretty much the same design but just much MUCH more bigger if memory serves right. the scene really had me on the edge of my seat.
i just watched a camrip of the new movie, and they did remake this scene a bit(made it longer and with more special effects of the running and everything) and yes, they did quite a bit of redesigning the angel
Still think that the original series is better than the rebuilds
