I mean, c'mon, people!! This is 2008, NOT the 1800's!!! Aren't we supposed to be an "enlightened" species???? WE (as in ALL individuals) need to be advocating and nagging our government officials for EQUAL access and treatment for ALL individuals.
I have HIV and my best friend who has looked after me for 10 years has Alzheimers disease! I am devastated! He is such a great guy! I feel I am going down hill because I miss him and mourning his death already since he cant remember me or anything!
I think doctor should be involved in the test process because for some people it's not easy to Accept HIV result if they are Positive and could result in wrong actions.
"this test should NOT be used to determine the absence or presence of hiv infection" - from the hiv test kit label. let us work together to understand through questioning why AIDS has continued this long and pray for those who have believed they were infected by a deadly virus when in fact they were not.
