This is the one fued that could have revitalized Vader's career and brought back his "monster" image that he had in Japan and WCW. Vader could have been the constant thorne in Kane's side, much like what Mankind was to the Undertaker in 1996. Instead they used this entire fued to push Kane and bury Vader.

I totally agree. WWF did a poor job pushing Vader from the beginning, from having him lose to guys like HBK and Bret. Those guys are awesome, but Vader should've beat them first, not the other way. But yea this could've revived Vader's career a decent feud w/ Kane. I would've liked to seen them feud, then them and Mankind join together w/ Paul Bearer as a faction. Would've been a sweet monster faction.

Kane might have not been all perfect with the mask on, but he was still mostly better with it and way over with the crowd. Taker was not all perect either hell he got lame in 99 esp when he changed to that weird song. Then he went biker and was gold. Then that got lame he cut his hair and went more lame. Everyone hits rough spots. Hell look at taker now he's stale. But people still cheer and respect him just like Kane.
