  • Yeah use car shampoo, it has no salt in it.

  • wow you have a nice garage backgrd. very complete tool sets

  • Only one part I disagree with is washing your bike (or car) with dish cleaning soap. It has salt in it, which can speed up corrosion, especially if you don't fully dry the bike! It's a great degreaser, though, so is fit for purpose, but I prefer to use car washing products with no salt content! :)

  • Another thing. White lightning is a parafin base lube but I think Lemon Pledge is cheaper since it is a parafin wood wax that also repels dirt and parafin in general is good in waxing wood and lubricating metal.

  • Those lubes are too expensive. I just use a universal oil lubricant use for creaky doors and locks to sewing machine.

  • we use tri flow a lot at thick bikes in pittsburgh pa

  • Terrific video. Thanks alot Erik!

  • I only have WD40 spray in my shed at the minute can I use that as a lube? Good video btw :)

  • @RollingLunatic no its a degreaser... :P
