but how can this guy compare this bluray player to a ps3, i mean come on! the ps3 can do a lot of more things, im telling this cause the guy is telling that is much cheaper than the ps3, obviously cause it cannot do all the things a ps3 can

ive just bought this player and its awsome dolby true hd/dts master audio the dogs bollocks.. im not worried about coax ect. as im using hdmi... 5 stars all round

This player has 20 second load time and it is a just as good as the PS3. Game titles are to expensive and anyways my computer still has many of the PC game titles that I will play for years to come.

I own one of these! its a great player BUT!! whats with the BD Live feature?? talk about slow as hell! the bit where you reg!! is so slow that your left not caring for it

It looks good to me :) and has had good reviews! I haven't been able to see what other players can do! but as far as I know, Sony and Panasonic are getting good marks on upscaling

I heard the panasonic has the edge on picture quailty but the PS3 has quicker loading times

PS3 does have the quickest load times for a Blu-Ray player. From what I have heard the load times on the BD-35 are quite quick, and the Audio/Video Quality is Outstanding.
People who buy standalone Blu-Ray units need to install the latest firmware upgrades.

I dont find its speed an issue :) the PS3 isn't loads faster, just abit :) I love the picture quailty on the Panasonic, colours are spot on :) and dvd upscaling is real good! the only thing I do dislike about it is the BD live, its so sluggish! but I dont use it that much anyway. the PS3 is better value if someone wants games and movies! but if you want to just go for movies! the Panansonic is a better choice :) I have an x-box anyway :)
