@MultiSr16 Thanks dude. From what I remember, I wasn't really holding over, just aimed at the high center chest. I also learned that when it comes to .22 caliber guns, ammo quality makes a HUGE difference. I know most shooters are very aware of that already, but I never really believed that. The CCI high velocity copper plated .22LR was very consistent & fairly easy for me to make hits with. But Fiocchi brand was VERY INconsistent. I'd aim at the same spot, but would hit all around the target.
@RetreatHell yea, cci is all i run anymore , i got a beretta 21a a few months ago and to insure i never had it jam in front of a crowd, i bought like 1500 rds of minimag, cause thats all shell shoot, so im good as far a rimfire ammo goes for now, dont kno if you remember, but i was on you to sell your stippled kac covers about a month ago, well u talked me into tryin it myself.,so i did, and i must say they turned out sooo perfect, they look like they came that way from KAC, im so happy,so THX RH
@RetreatHell theres nothin more badass/sicker lookin then a set of black stippled KAC rail covers.., looks like you got a set on that rifle layin on the table there huh>?
@TheHiddenPart Yeah it was actually a really nice evening on that particular day. I like that range a lot, as you can tell by several of my vids I've taken there. It's really convenient for me since the steel is already hanging there downrange, and it's quiet and peaceful there, too (usually).
I can't believe that you were able to get hits with a P22 at 100 yards. The sights are pretty blocky & large for 25. I've shot my Glock & Sig at 100 yards, and the .40s&w didn't require any hold over. I would imagine that .22lr would take about 2' or so to make hits at that distance.
@MegaGewehr2 Yeah the sights suck, and there's not really any aftermarket options either (as far as I know), so you're kinda stuck with them on the P22. I actually don't hold over, I just aim at the high center chest for the most part. Maybe a little higher than I would a Glock, but not by much.
Shooting my Glock 19 is far easier to make my hits at 100 yards. It's really fun to shoot pistols at distance and very challenging. As u know, you've gotta have great trigger control, breathing, etc..
@RetreatHell I don't see how you shoot @ 100 yards without support. I can make hits at 50, but for me to shoot at 100 I need to go off the bench. I'm really surprised the P22 doesn't require more hold over. Trigger control is def. something I need to work on. My left to right is 100% but I tend to jerk every fifth round or so really low. Oh well... such is life, lol.
@WesMerc It's a full size (roughly) silhouette, not sure of the actual dimensions. I can't wait to go back out to the range and try it again, this time with plenty of CCI brand ammo! I've done it before with my Glock 19 (same range, same target), and it's MUCH easier with my G19 than it was the other day with the Walther P22.I wish the P22 had better sights, it would make things a bit easier for sure. They're not horrible, it'd just be cool if they made meprolight night sights for it.
@HuskyKMA I am too now! I honestly never really believed people about how much more accurate and better CCI is than other ammo. My P22 is the ONLY .22LR gun I've ever owned though, so I never knew how accurate CCI ammo is until I shot it at long range the other day. I was definitely impressed.
Hey, thanks for zooming in so we could see the targets. Really appreciate it!

for the walther p22's you should use a high fps .22 rounds , they work way way better than cheap ass rounds that jam.

that's a really neat place, where you're shooting. A small pond, some weeds, and some birds not berated by the sound of the suppressed .22.
Sounds like a quality evening to me.

How big is the plate? I can do 10/10 on my 12 x 18'' plate at 50 yards. Never shot farther than that. Its only like a 3.5'' barrel man!
