Hopefully I will one day be able to be at a Pompey match with this level of atmosphere, I have had high atmospheres but this is just another level. Somehow I dont think it will come from the Real Betis Friendly game but you never know :)

I'm a Manchester United fan and was sent to work in Pompey for the first six months of this year. I went to most home games towards the end of last season and I can honestly say I have never seen fans like them. After all that club has been through in the last 12 months- administration, near bankruptcy, a lot of top players leaving and certain relegation- it was an an absolute joy to see so many loyal supporters singing their hearts out for their team.
its easy to create a big game aosphere aginst AC ,arsenal united etc..unfortunately the place was like a library this term when the team needed you. i realise you have some good fans but was suprised with the games i seen on tv. it really was quite. hopefully youll fins your voice to aid your team next term

I want the atmosphere to be absoloutely buzzing again around fratton park, but their is always the ones who refuse to sing. We are Portsmouth football club we're proud of our team, you either sing and show our team support or get out!
