She is the only character that fights with a guitar, and the series is solely based on rock music, so I say she fits in well. I still hate her as a boss, though. After street fighter 2, this is the only fighting series with ORIGINAL characters. each bloomy character just yells some sort of emotion, and no fighting game series will ever do that again. includes bb. bb is a good franchise, but some of the characters are not original. we have two clones of sol and ky. carl is original. rach is like i-no, nu is completely unoriginal. i mean, some of the characters you seen there type in other games genres, and anime. GG FOREVER!!

Well first of all, SF2's characters aren't all even that original really. Half of them were taken from other sources design wise, I mean Balrog was based of Mike Tyson, Guile's look was taken from Stroheim in JJBA, Bison even had his deisgn based off a prexisting character from a Japanese movie whose name escapes me at the moment.

On the subject of the Gg characters, yes I agree that they are very fresh and original, However, I don't think that Rachel is anything like I-no.

Stupid character limit lol...as for being clones of Sol and Ky, aside from role of "red vs blue" Ragna and Jin not only have a totally different relationship, but are personality wise different than their counterparts. The rivalry theme and design are probably the only things similar between rival pairs, otherwise, they're very different. As for Nu, she's probably the weakest character wise in BB for sure. She's not a bad character, but she's not that unique or anything.

Guilty Gear actually bases almost all it's characters off music, the only one who isn't is Baiken, named after a Japanese swordsman and based off Himura Kenshin.

maybe its just me, but i think Baiken would beat Kenshin. she is one tough woman. In my opinion, after street fighter, king of fighters, and guilty gear, hardly any fighting series is worth it to me. sad to say that I would put blazblue in that category. I dont know how to accurately explain it, but the fighting mechanics are to loose for anyone to believe that it is the successor to the GG franchise, and it is ridiculously unbalanced. I still like the game. Feel free to down vote me.

Blazblue's balance is fine. Sure it has some problems (Carl Clap loop infinite) But I'm pretty sure they're gonna fix up all of that stuff in the sequel. GG had it's fair share of unbalance too. Instant Kills are the ultimate example.

I love BB as much as GG for different reasons.
