That's shouldn't be something wrong with him, I really didn't like Tennant for that reason, I don't think people actually saw the Doctor in his performance, they just saw a good actor that was too identifiable with (he was too human) and the Doctor is supposed to be an alien, plus Russell T Davies writing his exit as 'I don't want to go' only alienated the fans to new Doctor as it reflected the opinions of some of the Tennant fans, who now claim the show to be dead. in reality..

Matt Smith is the best new series Doctor, there's absolutley nothing wrong with him at all, he's without a doubt made for the role, Moffat has done the show a great service, long live Moffats reign of the show. :D
Matt Smith is alrite as the doctor he has some amazing moments and his voice suits the role but I hate it when the doctor seems to not know what he's doing and go for comedy all the time which is what Smith is doing :/ I dont like his costume tho and there are talks of a costume change which I like + he might be getting a hat... good times :D

I first saw Doctor Who when I was in hospital; it was an episode with Christopher Eccleston in it. I didn't like it a lot, so I didn't watch again. One day, I was channel surfing & found Doctor Who again, but with a new person; David Tennant. I have faithfully watched ever since.
It's his personality, quirks & characteristics that are vital to me. The 10th Doctor is so eccentric & enthusiastic that I can forget my illnesses/disabilities for an hour a week. I may stop watching when he leaves.

Matt Smith will be brilliant. Every new Doctor brings something new. For many people Matt Smith will be their Doctor. Plus he will likely be the Doctor for a long time so people will grow to love his take on the character which is likely to be superb because Smith is an excellent actor and really loves the character.

Why? He's written the best episodes so far. I think that's the best thing that's happened to the series since its return! Wish Tennant had stuck around for one more series though, Moffat/Tennant could have been an awesome combination.
yeah he should have done another series as a send off cause he didn't announce that he was going until he'd finished series 4 so now there won't be a proper storyline to see how he is killed as they have only got four specials which are too far apart to string together one decent continous episode like they did with the most recent dalek finale and the one with the master before that

Seen Pater Davison when he took over the role? There's nothing wrong about Matt's age. As long as he's a capable actor (which he should be, judging by the fact that he got the role) I'm happy that the Doctor is safe.

are you suggesting they hire someone who looks closer to 900 then? I'm no scientist, but i don't know of that many people who look that old. when the doctor regenerates, he doesn't age in the same way as a human (the fact that he ISN'T helps there a little bit) so how can someone look too young?
in all honesty, i love DT as the doctor, and I'm not looking forward to him leaving, but I'm reserving judgement on matt smith until i've seen him in action. after all, i didn't like DT when he started!

Matt Smith will be brilliant. Every new Doctor brings something new. For many people Matt Smith will be their Doctor. Plus he will likely be the Doctor for a long time so people will grow to love his take on the character which is likely to be superb because Smith is an excellent actor and really loves the character.

DO ANY OF YOU HAVE A HEART! Have you watched the interviews? He is so incredibly excited about this job, and all you can do is criticize his looks! Honestly, the human race, or at least the "doctor who" fans have gotten terrible shallow! If you were a true fan, like me, you would watch it for the monsters and special affects, and then you would switch over and watch doctor who confidential! Not just sit their drooling over Tennant! I know their are other true doctor who fans out there somewhere!

Hey!! I'm a true Doctor Who fan! I've been watching since I was 5! (re-runs of course- I'm only a teen.) But I still must agree his hair does look pretty strange: but every Doc has something strange about the way they look! It gives them character!

Why? He's written the best episodes so far. I think that's the best thing that's happened to the series since its return! Wish Tennant had stuck around for one more series though, Moffat/Tennant could have been an awesome combination.

yeah he should have done another series as a send off cause he didn't announce that he was going until he'd finished series 4 so now there won't be a proper storyline to see how he is killed as they have only got four specials which are too far apart to string together one decent continous episode like they did with the most recent dalek finale and the one with the master before that

Lol I've never seen this guy in action but I'm willing to give the guy a chance, he looks like he could suit the part very nicely in playing a very "dark" Doctor Who compared to others in the past. Obviously David is fantastic and may still reign as the all time favourite Doctor of all time, but I have faith in the DW writers, they know what they are doing!
