i believe this is a terrible hoax, but i think people should stop bashing the family and their parenting. from what i can see, they actually DO things with their kids, and spend fun and educational time together as a family. yes, you can see on wife swap and by the hoax they are crazy and messed up, but every family has their issues behind closed doors. i bet there are thousands of abused and neglected kids out there wishing they had parents like the heenes.

Their local sheriff (Larimer County) announced last Sunday on TV that he believes it was a hoax/publicity stunt (he originally said he thought it wasn't, but he apparently changed his mind after seeing other evidence including Falcon's statement about "we did this for a show").
I thought the balloon thing seemed kind of fishy in the first place, but originally I thought that the kids did it for a joke while the parents just weren't paying enough attention or something. Oh, well.

Well, I believe the kid....kids at that age have that innocence about them, and the kid was just being honest....he was asked why he was up there, and he told them, and his honesty backfired on them. You can tell by the kid he wasn't making anything up, he was just being candid about it. I cannot believe they would pull it off...if the kid was missing, why didn't they search the house first?
