I know most of us are disappointed we never tried VF5R outside of Japan, but what disappoints me more is AM-2 not adding a second fighter to it since the series is known to bring in two new fighters in sequels and one remake.
The Sega Lindbergh platform is a Linux-based embedded PC. Sega had originally planned to use the Microsoft's Xbox 360 as the basis for the arcade board, but instead opted for an architecture based on standard PC hardware. This decision was probably made because it is usually more cost effective to use a PC as a gaming platform than it is to use a console.
You remember how DRASTIC the changes were from regular VF4 to VF4 Evolution? It's basically that: More characters, revamped stages AND different music, re-balanced (again)...and a bit 'hyper' of sorts (so the ADHD crowd will get less bored).
Oh yeah, everyone's got wresting intros, and you can customize em :p
well I'm wondering if they'll still bring the intuitive and thorough training from VF4E (I mean that was ridiculously good). But yeah, I remember those changes and that was worth buying the same game (well not exactly heh) over again for 20 bucks. Also fix the online components well. So yeah, I'll definitely support a console release if they can manage this. now if I can only remember my password :(

Easier to hack and pirate as a result. Already hearing of people doing the same thing with BlazBlue: CS.

I haven't been following VF since 5 came out (no ps3 or 360 so I couldn't play them here).
what's been added to VF5R. if it's anything like VF4:FT, but it might be better off staying in arcades.
