My doctor just put my on Abilify, along with Cymbalta. Today will start my 3rd dose of Abilify. I can't tell any thing from it yet, but all the reviews that i see are negative. Can any one shed a little more light on this please.

What are people thinking that Abilify will improve mental health! I've taken it for 8 years and I have suffered from more side effects than I can handle.

i was taking olanzapine for two years... then changed to abilify, after a few days : panic, high temperature, heart racing... the worst was the uncontrollable shaking... i stopped it shortly after.... anti psychotics, are HEAVY drugs. keep clear

@HOpeMr. The pharmaceutical industry is a joke. Instead of thinking about the different types of (psychological) disorders and reorganizing them into different types and subtypes they prefer to stick with the old (what 1920s) Freudian view of psychology. Making medicines by accident (Haldol actually once researched as an anesthetic), for diseases and disorders that are not yet properly defined. The bonus: side effects!
