  • just the leave the god damn animal alone.

  • You sir, are a champ.

  • let me ask you, sir... why would you skin my favorite animal?

  • @xzTetrisxz

It was dead in the road. So I skinned it used the meat and kept the hide for educational purposes. Most children and adults have not seen a mink close up. They hear horror stories about how aggressive they are and yet are surprised how small they are.

  • @xzTetrisxz let me ask you, sir... if its your favorite animal why look it up to see it skinned??

  • how can you eat a predator you dumb ass red neck???? do you also eat cats or dogs!

  • @razerbrax

Not yet, but I never say never

  • @razerbrax

Tuna are predators. Are the billions of people who eat tunas dumbasses too?

  • @razerbrax By being a bigger predator. Please, think before you enter a comment...

  • @razerbrax also mink are a none native species and have driven native species out of their areas so are legal to kill (even though Sean didn't actually kill it) also why not it is meat?

  • how can you eat a predator you dumb as red neck????

  • Mink? Naaaaa, like eating a coyotes, but, if you like it, go for it. Personally I would have to be really hungery to do that.....muskrat, mabye, but to eat that mustula family you would have to be hungry.....really hungry.

  • Well I do think there is a place for all of God's creatures.....right next to the potatoes and gravy! Nice vid!

  • so lucky. i wish I had a fresh roadkill mink. all I get are squirrels.

  • You love it don't you. Like a lil dog...

  • Did you eat it

  • see reply above.

  • was it edible.

  • My daughters owl got it before I did. I have been told they taste of urine as do most predators.

  • I picked up an 8 point buck on the side of the road. was nothing wrong with it eccept that it tryed to head but an 18 wheeler

  • lol it shat itself when the car came at it ! ( 2:11 )

    but yeah, nice vid

  • Damn right Dude! roadkill as long as it smells "fresh" and the eyes are not Dull, then it is safe to eat.

ALL meat is OK to eat, its just some does taste like shite......

  • Hi Sean ,

Nice vid, its a pitty a lot of other road kill products are not picked up and eaten.

  • I'm just messin with you man, I like the videos....5 stars!

  • No offense dude, but I've been hunting for the past 20 yrs. I could have skinned 10 squirrels by the time you got done fartin around with that damn mink! tell the truth, that was the first time you ever skinned an animal wasn't it? BTW, I will purposefully run over a rabbit just so I can eat it, that's just how I roll. Hard economic times. Free meat baby!

  • No its no the first time I have skinned an animal but I am skinning it to keep the pelt. If I am skinning an animal for food then like many others I simply pull the skin off the animal. With this pelt I have kept the feet attached and removed all the skin including the head, nose, and whiskers.

  • I stand corrected! People in the U.S. scoff at the notion of eating road kill. You would be considered a " redneck hillbilly " for such an act. maybe if more Americans ate road kill they wouldn't be so damn fat. I'll take deer or bear meat over a big mac any day! :)

  • I would consider myself to be an excentric. I wouldnt mind the title of redneck hillbilly. To me they are people who live in the country and dont care what others think about them. What you see is what you get. That sounds good to me.

  • Ha! I consider myself a " country boy " rednecks have a tendency to inter breed and I would rather not marry my sister. :)The latter part of your comment certainly pertains to me though.

  • @seanmulhall theres no such thing as british rednecks hahahahaha

  • i know a lot of guys that will stop for fresh roadkill.. lots of free meat and nice pelts. why not? and they're not hillbillys.

  • big macs are really good in my opinion but i would rather have a good rib eye steak anyday

  • @gabrielemt1971 i think more scoff at eating carnivores road kill, to me is only good if you were there at the momment of impact, or, if still warm to the point of "Oh no, is this poor thing just knocked out?"

I don't know what risks there are

  • thats a brilliant idea to eat roadkill, i think its important that the animal dosnt just rot and become useless. if you eat it and keep its hide it think its respecting the animal alot. cheers for this idea

now i dont need to nag dad all year to get a rifle!

  • Good videos, this is what youtube needs :)

  • Start hunting and you wont need to eat roadkill.

  • Hunting and gun laws in the UK are a pian. Although I know several hunting and trapping techniques I do not go hunting. I have no personal issues about hunting but just choose not to do it. I am happy to eat fresh road kill and do notsee any problem with it. Selecting the right kill is very important and it must be fresh. I had road kill deer last night for tea. 'Lovely',

  • great video sean 5/5 i have done some mink trapping before, but my mink were covered in ticks, so i did,nt really want to touch it ,

    malc

  • I still have the complete hide nose to tail including feet. Not sure what to make with it though. I'm open to any suggestions.

  • who did you say your knives are made by?

  • go to his channel and go to his videos it will say in his video called my bushcraft knives

  • Like your opinions on animal welfare. What did it taste like?

  • I respect animals both alive and dead and treat all animals with the same respect.

    Smelly and gamey. Not great.

  • I thought all wild meat taste good...

Man, what would I give for a nice buffalo steak, or some ostrich!
