Cool, the little one's are tough! And that is important ... because if you don't teach them to take some contract in their sparring sessions they will never learn to fight intelligently! Like point-fighters ... they're afraid of getting hit. Because of that they rely on a few long range techniques and running around the ring. With continuous, contract sparring ... they learn how to use their take downs and throws. They learn how to fight at close range and develop proper footwork.
@Susanoo58 Thanks for your comment. I agree, sparring must have good contact even for little juniors. They have to get used to being hit, and also they learn how their own and their opponent's bodies are affected by the by being struck and so develop effective techniques.
