good call beas...synthetic wasnt why curlin lost his move was huge and had lead...he was going to lose no matter what he was tired and he almost lost to 40-1 at saratoga when he came hom in 13.4 plodding and that horse was battling back on him ..also that horse came back to run 7th at meadowlands next race..also wandering boy lost to curlin by 1 or so lengths and he was battilng inside and we know he was short at 1mile and quarter in the jcgoldcup so curlin wasnt even that good and not very fast
I dont see why they make a big deal about it. Papa clem won the arkansas derby. I want revenge = wood. Pioneerofthenile ran better than any of the east coast favourites in the derby. Great horses win on any surface. Many american horses have won the dubai cup. Curlin's owner hates the polytrack but look at the move Curlin put around the turn. looked to me like he liked the polytrack just fine.
